There was never a doubt in her mind as she walked up and poured the glass of milk she was holding all over him. Caroline, or Lin, which was what her best friend called her, had a smug smirk on her face, and the boy who was sitting in front of her looked, well, shocked. He looked up and more milk from his head poured into his eyes. He closed his eyes tightly for a moment letting the milk drip down his cheeks and then he stood up. Caroline was surprised but didn't show it and was happy with herself for keeping her cool like she said she would in the most terrifying moment of her life, well it was the mirror that morning.
"You've just started a war you do realize that right?" She had heard him but it didn't register as quickly as she hoped it would have.
Caroline smiled at him and said, "You started it first when you wrecked my car and left without paying for it which reminds me, you still owe me a new car." Caroline smiled sweetly at him and walked back to her seat next to her astonished best friend.
The whole room looked between Caroline's face and Jason's face wondering what would happen next. Jason stormed off and even though her back was to him, she knew when she heard the cafeteria's door slam shut that his face was probably red from anger like a person in a breath holding contest who just held their breath in for too long. She could even faintly hear Matt, Jason's best friend, laughing.
"Well he deserved that for a while now but what exactly did you mean when you said "wrecked my car"?" Allie asked from beside her.
"That's right I've been meaning to tell you actually I meant to tell you before I did that but I didn't get the chance because you were at the library all through out Miss. Franks class and her being her she hates me and didn't let me go to meet up with you."
"Okay, well? Get to the good part already!" She exclaimed.
"Calm down I'll tell you don't worry. It all started this morning."
