The Attack

"I'm fine but you're not going to be when I'm done with you," I jumped at Jason and Matt reacted almost as quickly. Almost. He missed me by just a little bit and grabbed hold of my foot making me trip and faceplant into the ground with him falling on his side still gripping my foot tightly. I didn't even lay a finger on Jason, my intended target.

Jason started laughing while Matt held on to me but loosened his grip so that I could easily break free and get Jason. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow while he merely smiled in return and I knew instantly that he wanted to get back at Jason too for laughing, so I did what he asked me to. I started to charge at Jason who was now ten feet away and looked as if he was trying to clean the street with his clothes. He realized I was coming a little too late and I tackled him, pinning him to the ground.

"Don't you ever do that again and if you don't pay for my car I will ruin you, got it." I said in a demanding voice. Okay so maybe I did take it a little too far, oh well.

"What like your car cost that much," he scoffed from under me and I just raised my fist about to take the shot when Matt stepped in stopping me from making a mistake. His big hand covered all of mine and the look of horror on Jason's face as I straddled him was enough to make a sloth laugh. I mean come on they never smile and if they did it would probably take several minutes to do it.

"Okay you two stop flirting already it's hard to watch." he covered his eyes and Jason rolled his eyes while I blushed a little, that is, until I felt a sharp pain in my ribs and doubled over. When I doubled over my head missing Jason's face by only a little bit he came out from under me and held a shocked expression on his face. I looked up the pain unbearable now and Matt looked equally as worried.

"We should get you to the hospital you're in bad shape." Matt nodded to Jason's statement and they both started to pick me up.

"Wait, we can't go to the hospital together my older brother works there and he will want to know what happened."

"So? We can't just leave you here you need medical help." Jason said looking at me as if I had two heads.

"My brother will literally kill you where you stand if he finds out you did this to me. Oh and that's not even the best part I have five brothers and a dad." I winced a little and he quickly shook away the idea of leaving me here.

"So we went to the hospital and of course Cal was working." I said starting to finish my story. My food was already cold but I couldn't eat it anyway so that was okay. "we had him fix me up even though he was on break from night shift and he of course asked about what had happened. If I wasn't standing there he may have killed them where they stood. The grumpy mood that he was in didn't help either. I thankfully didn't break to many ribs only 1 and while my others are all bruised."

"Are you crazy you shouldn't be in school!" Allie practically screamed at me and I winced at her tone.

"Allie," I said stopping her from ranting, "I'm fine don't worry. I had to beg Cal to let me come to school so that I won't have to make up all the tests. I thankfully don't have to deal with my brothers till later.

"You know that you told the story all wrong right." I looked up at the new voice and it was no other than the devil himself, Jason.
