Leave Her Alone

Right in front of me was no other than Jacques Gonzales. My ex. The Love of my life. My happiness. My everything, but right now... he was nothing more but a lying, cheating, son of a bitch.

As much as I hate to admit it, I still love him. Trying to forget three amazing years, on my part, is not easy. It's not easy trying to forget someone you love. Trying to forget the person that taught you how to love. The one who told me he loved me. The one I spent all those late nights texting with, flirting with and sharing some of my likes and dislikes. Every single text always made me smile. I would always read back and think, "God how am I this lucky to have someone like him."

I wasn't lucky.

"Babe, are you even listening to me?" I came back to reality and looked him straight in the eyes. Those nice brown warm eyes that could make any girl melt. Our faces were so close that if I were to tilt my head up a centimeter our lips would brush together.

I was tempted to, don't get me wrong. Who wouldn't. Those nice soft lips would make me cave into anything he said. I wanted to kiss him and him to tell me that it was all just a mistake. That he never meant for anything to happen. That he loved me and learned from his mistake and will never let me go. That he loves me and wants everything to go back to the way it was.

As if reading my mind he smirked at me and brushes his lips with my lips for a second before pulling away leaving me wanting more. I gasped and I stared at him in disbelief and anger.

Does he think this is a fucking game or something?

"What do you want Jacques?" I asked with annoyance. I really wasn't in the mood to see him or talk to him. Or have anything to do with him.

"Why aren't you sitting with us?" he asked. He pushed a strand of hair behind my ear. I flinched and pulled away from his touch.

"Why should I? I don't belong there! Why are you even here?" I asked him. Anger coursing through my blood.

"Probably because you're my girlfriend?" He laughed which caused all his friends to laugh.

"Ex girlfriend. May I correct you!" I said putting emphasis on "ex" and "girlfriend" because according to him he doesn't know the difference.

"I don't think so. We're not over until I say it's over. Got it." he grabbed me by the arm and pulled me up. I tried to pull free but his grip was to strong. I looked back at my friends asking them for help but Jacques had his jocks pinning them down on our table.

"Jacques! Let GO! You're hurting me!" Annoyed from my constant struggle he tightened his grip even more which caused me to cry in pain.

"Don't be such a crybaby and start moving!" He said in annoyance. I could hear the venom in his words.

"She said to let her go!" I heard someone yell from behind me. I turned around to see Cole standing with his friends.

"This is none of your business! So I suggest you walk away before I break your face!" Jacques yelled without looking back.

"I believe this is my business!" he barked back and I looked at him with confusion. How the hell is this any of his business?

"Seriously dude! Walk away!" This time Jacques turned around and saw Cole. I saw him pause in his tracks. He looked nervous but after a second he put on his annoyed and angry face.

"Let her go!" Cole repeated once more. "She clearly wants nothing to do with you!"

"Bitch! Fuck you! This has nothing to do with you! This is between me and my girlfriend!" he gritted his teeth and continued to pull me with him.

"Seriously Jacques! Stop you're hurting me!" I cried in pain. His grip got even tighter if that was even possible which caused me to cry in pain even more. I'm definitely going to have a bruise. Tears streaming down my face I decided to just follow him which caused his grip to loosen, by just a bit.

"Finally!" he whispered. He was about to push open the cafeteria doors open when someone grabbed me by the waist and pulled me back!

I groaned as I lost a bit of my breath from the force when they pulled me back. Loosing his balance Jacques let go of my arm and stumbled back but managed to stay on his feet.

"What the-" he was cut off when someone punched him square on the jaw. Cole had let me go and threw himself on Jacques throwing punch after punch!

Jacques dodged a hit and took advantage of the space to punch Cole in the face. They continued to fight when I heard something crack.

"Stop!" I yelled but they wouldn't listen. Mason and some other guys tried to break the fight but they just couldn't separate them.
I stepped into the small crowd that was forming and saw Cole on the ground.

Jacques throwing punches and Cole was able to block some of them. I grabbed Jacques by the shoulders and tried to push him off. I yelled for him to stop but he wouldn't budge. Irritated he threw his arm back which cause him to elbow me on my left cheek. I groaned in pain as I fell into the ground losing my air.

"Son of a bitch!" I heard Cole yell. I didn't see what was happening but I managed to hear most of it. I heard my brother and his friends yell.

"Shit Brooke! Are you okay?" Jason asked.

"I'm fine!" I managed to groan out. Shit what the fuck did I do to deserve this shitty day!?

"I'm going to kill that son of a bitch!" I heard him whisper.

I tried to say something but nothing would come out. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths trying to calm myself.

"Brooke! Brooke! Come on wake up! This isn't funny!" I heard someone whisper or yell, I couldn't tell.

I closed my eyes again tuning everything out until I couldn't see anything. Until I heard nothing.

HEYYYY, it's been like what? Almost two months since I've updated lol !! I did take a little bit longer than usual!! School started two weeks ago and I've been really busy. But I promise I will update soon again. Hopefully I'll have more time to write many more chapters, edit them and publish them.

Anyways I'm so happy my story is getting many more views.
