Brooke's POV:

Nothing. That's what was going on through my head. Nothing. It's like the whole world stopped spinning and it was just me and him. I looked him in the eyes, but he was already looking at me. Our noses were just centimeters away from each others. If either of us would make the slightest movement our noses would brush each other's. I felt his hot breath on my lips. He looked me in the eyes, down to my nose, and kept his gaze on my lips. He stared at them for a second and then looked away. He cleared his throat snapping me out of my thoughts.

He lifted me up in one swift movement and set me back on my feet. The comfort of his warm hand leaving my waist cold and exposed. I was able to stand on my own, somewhat since I was drunk. I came back down to earth from La La Land. I took a couple of steps back and stood in front of him avoiding his gaze. I looked down at my feet trying to avoid this awkward tension. I closed my eyes since I was still feeling a bit dizzy. Just as I was about to collapse on the floor again I felt him grab me by the waist. I reached up to grab my head when he pulled my hand away.

"Woah there. Take it easy. You don't want to get a concussion." he said aloud. "Come one lets sit you down." he walked me to a nearby picnic table. He sat me down so my back was resting on the edge of the table. He walked back to the spot where I almost fell down, picked up my purse, and walked back to me. He set down the purse to my right and stood in front of me.

He made a motion with his hand and then out of nowhere four other men walked out of the bushes. What the fuck? Who the hell would stay hidden behind the bushes in the middle of the night. I thought. If I wasn't scared before. I was definitely terrified now. They made their way towards us and stood behind or next to chocolate brown eyes over here.

I took the time to make out their faces with the slightest of light I could get from the moon and the street lights. It took me a minute to realize that they were The Kings and that the leader of the gang was standing right in front of me. I looked at them wide eyed and I didn't know whether I should attempt to run away, scream, or stay calm.

Of course the first two options sounded good, but I didn't want to risk my life. So I stayed calm and acted like I didn't know them. In fact, I didn't. I knew about them, but I didn't pay attention to what others said about them. I was taught to never judge a book by its cover. I was about to speak when I felt the need to throw up. Upon noticing my facial expression Cole quickly walked me to a bush and held my hair up from my face.

I squatted and put my hands on both my knees for some support and I threw up what I had drank. Thank god I haven't eaten much lately. I thought to myself. I threw up and when I was sure I wasn't going to throw up again I spit out what was left in my mouth. I walked back to the bench, pulled out a tissue from my purse, and wiped my mouth. I grabbed another tissue and wiped my tear stained cheeks.

"Mason can you get me a water bottle?" Cole asked Mason. Well more like ordered. He walked to the car and opened the trunk and pulled out a water bottle. He rushed back toward us and handed me the water. "Drink the water it'll help you sober down." he stated and looked at me with uncertainty.

I opened the bottle and drank the water. As soon as I took a gulp of the clear liquid I realized that it wasn't water, but Vodka. God do they want me to get even more drunk?  I spit out the nasty substance and started coughing like crazy. My throat was dry and it burned. I felt someone pat me on the back multiple times, trying to get me to breath again.

Cole grabbed the bottle and sniffed it. His face went from confused to angry. "What the fuck. This is Vodka not water you fucking idiot. Do you want her to die?" He threw the bottle on the ground and rushed back to the parking lot.
