I woke up way earlier then usual, I wanted to make Zane breakfast to say thanks for everything he did. I put my hair in a ponytail then got out the pan. When I finished the pancake mix, I got out the sausage. After I put everything on the pan I searched for some berries and whipped cream. When I was finished I tried making the plates look fancy but both the pancakes and sausage were burnt. I was so embarrassed, I was about to throw it away but the plate was snatched from my hand.

"Ooo, this looks yummy!" Zane said holding the plate.

"Wait! Don't eat it!" I tried to grab the plate but Zane just lifted it up. "Damn it! Why you got to be so tall!"

"Maybe you're just short." then Zane stuck his tongue out and ran to the table. He was about to take a bite but I jumped on him.

"Wait! You might die if you eat it!" I said while trying to take the fork away.

"You know it's not very polite to jump on peoples backs while they're eating." Zane said then he grabbed me and set me on the balcony. I was very shocked that he just picked me up and put me outside. When I turned around he shut the door and locked it.

"Hey let me in!" I started pounding on the door. He just looked at me, then put his hand up to his ear and made 'I can't hear you' look. He left me out there until he finished eating. When he unlocked it I started chasing him around the house. "How dare you eat them they were horrible!" I yelled at him while he kept dodging me.

"Well I thought it was the best thing ever." when he said that I stopped.

"But it was burnt." I said confusingly.

"Yeah the outside was but the inside was awesome, plus you made it which made it taste even better." I started to blush. I then looked over at the clock.

"Shoot! Zane we're gonna be late!" I ran to the front door and grabbed my backpack then I tossed Zane's at him. We put on our shoes and ran out the door. We went our separate ways, and we met back up during lunch at our normal tree, but this time Zane came with two boys our age. One of the boys was really tall and was muscular, he had black hair and very gentle brown eyes. The other was about Zane's height, his hair was longer than the other two and he wore a beanie. He had mischievous hazel eyes.

"Sapphire!" Zane ran over. "these two our going to help us with our plan to get rid of Julia."

"Julia?" I said confusingly.

"Oh right my hopefully soon to be ex-girlfriend is named Julia."

"Oh, okay."

"Hey tell us who the hottie is." The guy came up and put his arm around Zane.

"Back of dude, she's way out of your league." Zane said pushing him away. "Anyway, Sapphire this is Max," Zane pointed to the guy with the beanie. "and this one is Alex." Zane then pointed to the tall one.

"Hi." I said shyly.

"Awe she's so cute!" Max ran over to me. "What you say we ditch these losers." I didn't know what to do or say, so I looked over at Zane hoping he would do something.

"Max back off, remember she's my girlfriend at the moment." Zane grabbed and pulled me closer to him.

"Okay fine but as soon as Julia is gone then I'm not holding back." Max then sat down under the tree. We began plotting. Our plan was simple, Max would tell Julia he saw Zane with me, then he would lead her to us. We would be on sitting on a bench near a tree where Alex would be hiding to make sure nothing goes wrong. After lunch was over Zane, Max, and Alex walked me back to my school. After the day was over and started walking to the park, I was mentally preparing myself for our plan. I mean I literally just started opening up to people and now they want me to act like Zane's girlfriend, okay calm down Sapphire Zane said all I have to do is sit there, right? Shoot what if she doesn't believe us then what! But I have to this for him, he's done so much for me. Okay, yeah! I can do this, anything for Zane. When I arrived at the bench I saw Zane and Alex talking. Zane look over at me and called out.
