My name is Steve Rogers. I was born on July the fourth, nineteen twenty. My parents were poor Irish immigrants named Sarah and Joseph Rogers. As a kid, I grew up during the Great Depression and I always had a strong sense of duty and honour due to my Irish Catholic upbringing. My father died when I was a child and my mother died from pneumonia later, when I was in my late teens.
