After successfully becoming Captain America, I was later submitted to an experimental mind-conditioning program that conditioned my mind to accept false information in the chance I was captured by the enemy and forced to reveal classified information. As part of the conditioning, I was forced to believe my real name was Grant Rogers, that I had a brother, and that due to my parents being diplomats, I had a casual upper class appointment to the Army and Captain America position.
