I sighed.
"I guess you're right."
"I'm sorry" he said. "But it's just not possible."
I nodded understanding.
The next few days we were spending together, cleaning. We were almost done. The opera house will reopen as soon as everything's done. We already rehearsed with the dancers and singers and it went great. Erik has written everything. It sounded beautiful. I also have a role. I'm already so nervous. We were also thinking of a ball, a few days before the premier.
Saturday morning I got home so I could prepare everything cause my parents would come to visit.
I felt so alone that day. I cleaned my house alone, went shopping alone. In Manhattan I always went with my sister. And before I moved to Manhattan, I always went with Logan. I missed Erik. I tried to pretend he was there, but he wasn't. I've actually never felt so lonely. I needed him.
That sunday my parents and my sister came. I loved to see them, but I also wanted them to leave so I could go back to Erik.
"This place is so nice, Beth!" My mom said while she gave herself a tour around my house.
We talked a lot and had a great time.
They would stay here for 4 days.
My sister stayed at my house and my parents would stay at a hotel. I loved my little sister. She was 17. So 5 years younger than me. But I still felt lonely without Erik.

*Erik's POV*
I was busy composing again. This one is for Bethany. Last time I wrote something for someone, was for the Christine.
"DON'T THINK ABOUT CHRISTINE!" I thought every time I thought about Christine.
I miss Bethany. She's only gone for a few days but I'm so afraid she will leave me. And be gone forever. I need to surprise her. But how? Then I got an idea.

*Beth's POV*
It was about 8 o'clock and my sister and I were playing a game. We had a lot of fun. We also talked a lot.
"So are you and Logan back together?" She asked.
I sighed. Even thought I trusted her, I never told her about what Logan did. I didn't want to get in any trouble.
"ehm.. no" I said while I throwed the dice.
"Why not? You broke up because we moved to Manhattan and now you're back in Paris." she said, like she just came with an amazing idea.
"I just don't love him anymore, I guess." I said.
"So... you love someone else?" Tracie asked.
I started blushing.
"So you do!" she said, very exciting.
"I saw on your face you were thinking about someone!"
"Please don't tell mom and dad." I said.
"I knew it!" she said and started laughing.
We both laughed.
"But why can't mom and dad know about him?" she asked with a confused look on her face.
"It, it's complicated.." I said.
"But I will meet him, right?" she asked with a serious look.
"Someday, maybe.." I said.
"But can I have his name?" she asked while grinning.
I sighed.
"Sure why not.."
She smiled.
"His name is Erik" I whispered.
She started thinking... "No, I don't know any Erik's" she said and we both started laughing.
At about 11 o'clock we headed to bed.
*The next morning*
When I woke up I saw Tracie was already making some tea.
"Goodmorning." I said.
"Oh hey, goodmorning. Do you also want some tea?" she asked.
"Yeah, that would be nice, thank you." I said while I sat down at the table in the kitchen.
My sister and I had breakfast and got dressed.
Tracie really wanted to have a walk. When I stepped outside I saw a red rose with a little note laying on my doormat. I picked it up and read the note.
To my angel of music. x
I didn't notice Tracie was standing behind me, also reading the note.
"That's so sweet! Is it from Erik?" she asked.
"Tracie, you scared me!" I said while I turned around and hid the rose.
"It's cute." she saw I was blushing.
"Now let's go! I missed Paris!" :)
