Okay guys, prepare for this because this is something that bLOODY PISSES ME RIGHT OFF.

Lets start with how my school system works.

Basically to pass the school year we need about 80 credits. Each class we take offers around 20 credits for the year. These credits are practically useless till we hit year 11 (first senior year) where we get NCEA credits that go towards actually getting accepted into university (if you don't pass NCEA then you're screwed)

Last year, science classes offered opportunities to earn ncea credits for the next year level which we all took. The 3 assessments we took gave us about I don't know like 10 credits?

Ten credits out of eighty needed.

Now that that's out of the way, let me explain what actually pisses me off.

A girl started our school this year already carrying over 80 credits at NCEA level 1 since her previous school was very preppy or something idk, they put a lot of effort into their students.

OUR YEAR 11 DEANS CONSTANTLY GIVE US STUDENTS SHIT SINCE WE HAVEN'T PASSED THE YEAR YET OR GOT A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CREDITS YET WHEN

A) WE WERE NOT OFFERED THOSE 80 CREDITS TO PASS, THAT'S A WHOLE OTHER SCHOOL.

B) WE CAN'T HAVE THAT CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CREDITS IF OUR TEACHERS HAVEN'T GRADED US OR GIVEN US THE ASSESSMENT YET.

This is just one of the various things that fucks me off about school. I swear the only reason why I'm not leaving is because

1) my parents would probs kick me out/make me earn money somehow (I'm not 16 yet so i cant get a job)

2) I would have nothing to do

3) my life would be over basically

4) my friends are probably the main reason I go?? They kind of give me a purpose in the most cliche and shittiest way you could imagine?? But that's for another update.
