The massive boulder rolled down the stone steps toward us, shaking the ground with every drop of each step. My eyes widened as the object got closer.

"RUUUUUU-" I paused to take a breath, "-UUUUUN!"

At that instant, the two snapped from their frozen stance and jolted, turning around to the new corridor that was behind us. Charlie jumped into Billy's pocket and hid there as the boy was the first one to make a run for it.

   "RUN, BILLY!" Charlie bellowed.

"This is some Indiana Jones shit." Ian followed suit, his voice trembling in fear.

I was the last in line, with the boulder just mere inches behind me. We dashed past cobwebs, getting some of it in our faces. We heard rock grinding against rock as the boulder grazed against the walls of the cave.

"Where does this lead to?!" Billy asked.

"I have no fucking idea!" Charlie replied, "It's better than that gigantic rock wanting to run us over. Just keep running, twinkle toes!"

Then I felt the boulder grind against my butt, sending an oddly satisfying sensation, "Faster!" I exclaimed, "I'm getting sexually aroused by this rock. You know I hate being touched there."

The exit up front was getting closer, as was the rock behind us. I could smell the fresh outside air and hear the busy streets outside, the daylight shining orange, at it was almost five in the afternoon. As we even got nearer, I saw that it was a sheer drop to who knew where.

"Oh crap, guys! Do you see it?" The boy asked out of breath.

"We do!" Ian replied."We're gonna have to take the chance!"

"Please let there be a large marshmallow at the bottom to catch us." Billy prayed.

My temples throbbed, and my surroundings slowed down the second Billy made a leap of faith into the unknown outside world, unsure if it would lead us to something safe or directly into dangerous traffic.

Ian followed suit then me, my feet kicking my entire body off the ground and into the air just as the large rock wedged itself in the exit, sealing the entire chamber for good.

I immediately felt solid ground, my feet absorbing most of the impact but then causing me to roll like a ragdoll. Grass poked against my skin as I continued to roll, and every bump and turn sent shocks through my body, it wasn't the most comfortable landings I've had.

As if any other fall I've had in this saga has ever been comfortable. The implausible situations the author puts us.

I could not stop rolling, and so were Ian and Billy. I caught a glimpse of them bouncing and tumbling. It was then that I realized that we were going down a steep hill.

   "CAN'T - STOP - ROLLING!" Ian screamed.

"First - the - stairs, now - this?!" I replied, voicing out my frustration as we kept on going.

   "It's - not - so - bad!" Billy said, "As - long - as - we - don't - crash - into - a -"

He spoke too soon. I heard leaves being shaken from their branches accompanied by a loud thud.

Moments later I finally stopped, but my vision was still spinning and so was the food in my belly. I was staring up at the cloudy noon sky which was in an orange hue. I shut my eyes for a brief moment trying to shake away the dizziness.
