Ian Hecox
We emerged from out of the of the chamber exhausted and out of breath, all of us having endured bruises and wounds but somehow managed to make it out alive. Outside was the squad waiting for us, and so were our girlfriends, who had fought alongside them against the army of donut minions.
"Ian! Anthony!" Courtney exclaimed, greeting us with a hug, "You're back!"
"You guys are one tough duo." Shayne remarked, "You happen survive every obstacle thrown at ya."
"We're just used to it I suppose." Anthony shrugged, "Three years of lightsaber battles, time travels, epic battles, and treasure hunts might have given us some training. Last time I remember was that Ian couldn't even make it through a room filled with deadly laser beams."
"Hey! A rat crawled up my crotch and could've potentially made me unable to make babies." I defended.
"But still, you guys managed to save the day."
"But we couldn't have done it without the squad's help this time around." Anthony replied with a smile, "Without your help we wouldn't be able to locate Pam and Miel."
Pam squeezed herself between Shayne and Olivia. Upon having eye contact with her, she came rushing in and flung her arms around me before burying her face in my neck.
"Ian! Thank God!" She squeaked, voice breaking with joy.
I hugged her back, feeling her in my arms, her scent, and her body pressing against mine was one of the best feelings ever.
"A bunch of bruises and scratches won't stop the great Ian." I replied.
Pam pressed her lips on my cheek, a sensation that sent chills down my spine as always. "So this is what you're telling me you two have been going through the past three years."
"Pretty much, heh." I shrugged, "And don't get me started on those near death experiences."
The basement was a mess, there were broken crates as far as the eye could see, shattered artifacts that most likely were priceless, pieces of concrete broken off the walls and ceiling, dead mangled carcasses of donut minions, and many other adjectives one can use to describe the aftermath of a war zone.
"Miel!" Anthony ran to his girlfriend, the rainbow lollipop still in hand, wrapped his arms tightly around Miel's slim frame, "Are you okay?" He pulled away, inspecting her clothes for some bruises and wounds.
"I'm fine, Anthong." She giggled, her hand running through Anthony's curls, "Anthony... you're hurt!" She saw the large bleeding claw mark on his bicep.
My friend scoffed, "I've had worse." He smiled.
Miel did not hesitate to pull Anthony in for a deep kiss.
"You have no idea how much I missed that." Anthony mumbled. Miel just responded with a giggle before breaking the kiss to take a breath.
"Hey, you guys found it." She said, spotting the treasure.
Anthony handed it to her and the first thing she noticed was the cloth wrapped around the top half of the glass lollipop.
"About that..." I cut in, "It's a little melted on one side, but at least it's still in one piece."
"As long as you guys are alright, it's fine by me." She had a smile on her face as she lifted it up against the light, watching in astonishment when the glass lollipop dispersed the light into different colors.
