Chapter Eighteen

They arrived home later than expected, around 8 PM they rounded the corner that led to Niall's house to drop him off there. Harry was again sound asleep in his arms, worn out from everything that had happened that day.

''Well, Ni, we're here,'' Louis announced as he turned off the engine.

''Yeah, I'm going to have to wake him up now,'' Niall sighed, not wanting to disturb the sleeping beauty laying so peacefully in his embrace.

''Haz,'' he began, brushing his lips along the shell of Harry's ear.

Harry groaned but didn't open his eyes.

''Wake up, sleepyhead,'' Niall giggled softly, taking Harry's head in his hands to press a kiss to his sleepy lips.

''Hmpf,'' Harry muttered, finally cracking his eyes open.

''I have to go,'' Niall pouted, urging Harry to get out of the car because he was stuck between him and Eleanor.

''Aw,'' Harry matched Niall's pout. ''I'll help you bring in your stuff, yeah?''

Niall nodded and opened the door. Harry crawled out first and stretched his muscles, feeling sore from the long ride. Niall did the same and opened the tailgate to grab one of his bags. Harry grabbed another one and together they walked towards the front door of Niall's house. He rang the door bell and his mother opened the door.

''Niall! How are you, darling,'' she gushed as she engulfed him in a hug.

''Good,'' Niall beamed. ''I'll tell you everything later, first I have to say goodbye to everyone, yeah?''

She nodded and took the bags Niall and Harry held in their hands. Harry quickly hugged her too and then walked back to the car again. Eleanor, Liam and Louis were already waiting outside the car, leaning against the vehicle.

''So guys, I guess I'll see you sometime soon?'' Niall offered, smiling sheepishly.

''Of course, Ni,'' Eleanor walked forwards and hugged him goodbye. The rest of the boys did the same until Harry was the only one left. Niall was about to fall into his arms and kiss him silly when his mother called his name. He turned around and saw, to his surprise, Harry's mom and dad standing in the door opening too.

''What?'' Harry crunched his eyebrows together in confusion.

''We figured you wouldn't want to say goodbye yet,'' Harry's mum smiled and motioned for them to come inside.

Harry beamed at Niall and quickly kissed his lips before hugging his friend goodbye and grabbing his stuff from the back of the car. He tugged Niall inside the house after they had waved until the car was out of their sight.

''I love you,'' Harry dramatically wrapped his arms around his parents as a way of thanking them for letting him stay with Niall a little longer.
