Chapter 3

*A Month Later (Terrance POV)*

Its been a month since me a Naya officially started dating. Some nights she spend the night but I feel like she is hiding something because every time we're supposed to go to her house she cancel then if she hang out in the day she cancel that night and if she cancel in the day we hang out during the night . I don't think she's cheating; she's jus hiding something really major. But I'm hiding something too! When she comes over tonight I'ma bring up how I feel.

**********(NAYA POV)**********
I got to make sure I'm extra cute for work today because right after work me an Terrance got a date Tasha , Jayce, his other friend Mike and some girl Mike Bringing. Today I think I'm going to introduce him to Bailey and tell him all about her I'm going over early to tell him because Bailey is coming with Jayce & Tasha. I do a spin in the mirror as I admire this dress that hugs me like a glove and shows curves I don't have. This light pink dress goes well with my gray pumps that match this purse Terrance bought me. I grab some Michael Kors sandals just in case. I throw some quick curls in my hair and gab my purse and Bailey baby bag and rush out the door. I put that stuff in and run back in to grab Bailey and her a snack. I drop her off a daycare then head to work. I get a text from Terrance "BABY I KNOW YOU LOOKING GOOD CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU TONIGHT AND HAVE A GOOD DAY AT WORK" Jayce and Tasha already know of the plan of me telling Terrance about Bailey I think they so ready for me to tell him so they can stop babysitting.

*Hours Later (TERRANCE POV)*
Naya should be here any sec it feels like I'm sweating I don't know if its because of what I'm going to ask her or what I'm going to tell her. Since I cooked I Didn't bother dressing up even though i told everyone dress causal I know Naya goin come in looking Good AF!!!

***KNOCK KNOCK
My heart starts pounding (what if she don't want me after I tell her this.)

I swing the door open and she looking sexy as always. I grab her hand and lead her to the couch I really just want to eat her right now but first I have to get this off my mind.  "I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU" we both say at the same time. "You first" says Naya. I rearrange myself on the couch and clear my throat.
"Naya I've been hiding something from you. I know I told you I am a lawyer but I am also a King Pin only you, Jayce and Mike know and Tasha will know. Jayce and Mike run the business I collect money, take care of business, and keep them out of jail. We been dealing since we was 16 and most of our money come from your side of town. Alot of people silent beef with us so as soon as word gets out that Jayce and I aren't single anymore life is going to get crazy" (She sat there in shock and disbelief she was slowly starting to shake)

********(NAYA POV)*******

"And I thought I found I a good legal man, I don't care that you do that cause your good at keeping it away from me but if it start to feel like it's endangering my life I AM GONE because"

****KNOCK KNOCK
"They can wait , because of what?" Said Terrance as his face looked worried.
I got up and reached for the door and as I opened it I grabbed Bailey who was sleep from Jayce arms
"BECAUSE I have a daughter."
Terrance jumped up in disbelief and walked to the kitchen Jayce followed him tears flowed from my face because I knew he was mad.
Minutes later they both returned from the kitchen.
Me & Tasha were sitting on the couch. Terrance reached for Bailey and smiled.
He continued to say, "Im falling in love with you so of course I'm accepting her. I walked away because I was supposed to have a child that would be around this age but my ex did some messed up shit."
He leaned in for a kiss and as we kissed Jayce took photos everyone busted out laughing.

***KNOCK KNOCK
Terrance opened the door and in came who I'm assuming is Mike. (Mike is light skin curly hair about 5'10. Tattoos everywhere even his neck Average body type and has hazel eyes and a flashy dude 'HE WEAR HIS MONEY')
He yelled down the hall way "Hurry Up Bae, I told you to let me tie your shoes but you insisted on doing it yourself"
I walked in the kitchen to put Bailey some juice in her cup for when she woke up and when I reentered the living room I just felt my body fall.

***(TASHA POV)****
Mike & His Girl Lashay walk in. She looking good as always.
(Lashay about 5'5 bright skin big booty long curly hair)
She kind of favored Bailey but I thought I was tripping. Naya was in the kitchen fixing Bailey something to drink for when she woke up. Thats when Lashay came up to me and asked "Can i hold the baby"
Now that she was holding her they looked exactly alike. **BOOOOOOM**
As I turned to see what hit the floor I seen Terrance rushing across the room. Naya had fell out. We rushed to get up so they could Lay her on the couch. I ran to the kitchen and grabbed the towel off the stove and wet it. As I was returning Naya was slowly waking up.
Terrance said, "baby keep your eyes close rest for a second then talk to us.
Seconds later Naya eyes flew open and she yelled "GET MY BABY FROM THAT BITCH"
Everyone stood in shock as we noticed the "bitch" she was referring to was Lashay. I hurried to grab sleeping Bailey and it all popped up in my head.

******(TERRANCE POV)******
I was confused to what had occurred. Why was Naya calling this girl she jus met a bitch ? Tasha sat on the couch with a spaced out look like she had jus figured out the Mystery to a Scooby Doo show. Mike, Jayce and I were the only ones who were lost. Lashay had the biggest smile on her face like she had not jus been called a bitch.
Mike stood up and Yelled "SOMEBODY EXPLAIN THIS SHIT, RIGHT NOW!"

*********(NAYA POV)**********
I couldn't believe my eyes. This bitch was sitting there hold my child and everyone was looking at me like I was the crazy one. I jumped up and started Yelling "GET FUCK OUT" Everyone started scrambling at this point Jayce had grabbed Bailey and took her in the bedroom to lay her down while Mike and Lashay reached for the door.
Terrance Yelled "EVERYONE SIT DOWN SHE CAN'T PUT NOBODY OUT MY HOUSE"
I looked confused because I felt like he was going against me.
Tasha leaned in to me and said "Remember only you and me know your secret"
That really enlightened the situation of betrayal. Everyone eyes were on me and Tasha's whispers.
"Y'all goin tell everyone or Y'all goin keep whispering like all this didn't jus occur" said Jayce.
"Should I tell them or you" I said as I shot a sharpe look at Lashay. She jus sat there.
"Okay, I guess I will. Terrance remember when I told you I was in an abusive relationship well Lashay is my abuser Lashun little sister. Lashay is also Bailey's auntie but she probably didn't know that until she seen me because the last time she seen me I was 8months pregnant. Everyday she watched her brother beat on me some nights he would leave me in the floor beaten up she would just walk right around me. One day I had almost got away but Lashay ran and told her brother he beat me so bad I was in the hospital for a month because they were worried about it Bailey was going to make it; and everyday I was there he never came to visit but she did reminding me that if I tried to leave she would personally beat me. When I finally got away I had $1000 to my name the lady at the apartments seen how beat up I was and made a way for me to move in the same day. Thats when I meet Tasha at first I didn't tell her my story but she continued to stick around and care about me and Bailey."

Everyone sat there with tears in there eyes except Lashay she was on her phone texting. I was sure she was texting her brother letting him know she had found me. Mike jumped up and grabbed her phone and started reading.

**** MINUTES LATER

He shot a look at Terrance and said "You sure she the one for you?" Terrance shook his head Yes. Mike said "Jay & T get ready ima call yall with the address.
From that point everything happened to fast !
Mike pulled out his gun and told Lashay to get to the car.
Jayce & Terrance ran back into the bed room when they came out they had on all black like they were dressed for war and with that they said "WE'LL BE BACK DON'T WAIT UP AND DON'T GO ANYWHERE"
Me and Tasha went into the bed room with Bailey and layed down we tried to start up girl talk but both of our minds wondered "what was about to happen."
