This fanfic is based on one of my favourite manga/anime Noragami. I'm a big fan of Yato x Yukine and wanted to try and write a fanfic :3 parts of this fanfic where also part of a dream I had which prompted me to note it down and write about it.
Well thank you for reading and I hope you like it >w<

I do not own Noragami or any of the characters, Nor do i make a profit from writing this fanfic.

Yato's POV

With keeping the Ayakashi's at bay, avoiding Nora and Veena as well as trying to help Hiyori, to say I'm tired is an understatement. But I can't complain, after Yukine's ablution everything seems to have settled down. Well for the time being anyway. But I don't like to dwell on the bad things, you gotta keep positive and open your mind to the possibilities. For example now that Yukine has started helping out at kofuku and Daikoku shop, we (he has) have money, which we (I) could spend on lucky objects!
-smack-
'owwwww, what was that for?!? ' ;^; I grumbled whilst rubbing my head.
Yukine glared at me, squeezing the rolled up newspaper he had just hit me with. ' you were thinking about using my money for your self again weren't you!'
'H-how'd you kno- I mean of course not! I would neve-'
-smack-
'I'm joking, I'm joking' I pleaded innocently whilst holding my arms up in surrender.
Yukine holding the newspaper above his head ready to strike again.
He signed, dropping his arms to his sides; his face relaxed into a smile before it turned into a devilish grin. 'This is why you don't have a shrine, Are you sure your even a god? he smirked whilst staring me down.
After pouring salt into my wounds he left me to suffer alone. Well, he left to continuing working that is.
I forgot to mention he has gotten pretty cocky since his ablution. But he doesn't seem to be holding back around me, so for that I'm happy.

Yukine's POV

I hope I didn't make him cry to much, I giggled to myself at the thought, I'm sure he'll be fine.
'Yukiiii~' kofuku sung as she stumbled into the room. 'Where's yato-chann?'
'He's in the garden being a freeloader' I said with a sigh. She giggled and said thank you.
'Oh, Kofuku?' She stopped and turned to face me. 'Thank you for letting us stay here for awhile' I said with a smile.
'No problem Yuki, we're happy to have you.' She spoke whilst returning a smile before continuing out of the door to the garden.
Until me and Yato get back on our feet, Kofuku and Daikoku have kindly provided us with a room. It's nice to finally have a roof over our heads, decent meals and actual beds.
It's great, only problem is I have to sleep in the same room as Yato. Don't get me wrong, his sleep talking is irritating at times but overall it doesn't bother me. The problem with sharing a room is the lights. I, as much as I hate to admit it, am afraid of the dark. It's kind of embarrassing but I've managed to hide it from Yato so far. When we slept outside at different shrines around the city, there was always street lights and even though it was dark it was tolerable. But now we're inside, no light from street lamps or the moon, just complete darkness. To avoid the darkness I try to fall asleep before Yato or if I can't sleep I pretend to do homework that Hiyori had given me, just so the lamp stays on. Yato hasn't questioned me about my weird behaviour, but he knows something's up.
When night grows nearer I start to get anxious and this only increases when I think about stinging Yato again. I need to tell him but i-
'Yukiiii~' kofuku shouted from the garden breaking through my inner turmoil.
Shaking my head clear I walked over and glanced from the doorway into the garden.
'Yuki, can you help me get the sheets in?' She called to me again as one of the sheets fell on top of her. I giggled at her clumsiness.
'sure' i replied as I stepped out into the garden. The rain had come out of no where, then again I wasn't exactly paying attention. 'You can go inside, I'll bring the rest in' I stated as she nodded and took the sheets she was holding inside. I grabbed the rest of the sheets, chucking them in a basket as the rain got heavier. Luckily, I managed to get inside before the heavens opened and the rain began to pour down. I still got pretty wet, so after putting the basket of towels on the table in the kitchen I headed upstairs into our room. Opening the door my eyes glanced up at Yato as he sat on the window ledge watching the rain. He turned to face me, his artic blue eyes captivating me and locking my body in place. I turning my head away and broke free from his gaze; I walked across the room pulling off my damp shirt and replacing it with a dry one. His eyes no longer on me but instead back observing the unexpected down pour.
He really does resemble a cat; wanting to go outside but disliking the idea of getting wet.
I glanced over at him only to realise that from where he was currently perched he had a perfect view of the garden.
' Yato..' I spoke in a low voice, prompting him to look around at me.
' you saw it was raining and didn't help me get the towels in..?' I growled.
He paused for a moment as if weighing up his options. ' you had it under control~ ' he answered with a playful grin.
' Yato you-' i snapped back at him before being cut off by a flash of light that radiating from the window behind him. A loud grumble soon followed, 'it's going to be stormy tonight' he muttered with a sigh.

Well, that just great...
