That musical episode was such a breath of fresh air for me (I finished 13 Reasons Why a few days ago...). I laughed so much at all the characters singing and dancing and loved seeing how a musical was incorporated into the show.

~Lana says she hasn't done a musical since she was 19 years old, but she loves to sing in the shower and in the car. She and Rebecca are always singing together on set.
~Colin chose the engagement ring himself. According to Jen, the creators are very inclusive with the cast, which is really nice.
~Ginny asked if she could do jazz hands in the background, but ended up getting multiple singing parts. Jared has one singing line, and says "it's probably for the best because I can't exactly sing."
