•-Your POV-•
"(Y/N), that's horrible! Are you sure you're okay with telling me?" Aphmau's eyes are drowning in sorrow. She has most likely spotted the tears dampening my cheeks. Laurence notices me getting slightly distressed too. He gives me the 'don't-do-it-if-you-don't-want-to' death glare. But I want to carry on with my story, so I can be certain that she trusts me.
"I'll be fine Lord Aphmau." She gives me a warm smile, trying to comfort me. I also notice Laurence roll his eyes out of the corner of my vision. 'Agh, how supporting.'
As if I said it aloud, I gently get picked up by two muscular arms. Laurence sits himself in my seat, then gently places me on his lap. I immediately feel my cheeks sizzle red. OH IRENE! Then, out of nowhere, he snakes his arms around my waist, resting his forehead on the back of mine. 'Yep, my face is now a raging fire of burning red!' My eyes bolt up to meet Aphmau's in embarrassment, expecting her to laugh. But instead, she has vague anger in her forged gleam. Why though?
"Please continue."
"Oh yeah, well...

(Y/N)'s father kept to his word, and never came face to face with her once. On no occasion did they cross paths, and he made sure of it. The King acquired servants to assist (Y/N) whenever she needed it, and he even went to the extent of building an isolated wing that she was restricted to. She wasn't even allowed to go outside. But one day, the rules were altered.

It was the morning of (Y/N)'s 5th birthday. The sweet songs of brillare birds sprung (Y/N) into consciousness as she realised what day it was.
"YAY! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" Her chirpy voice painted her quiet room with life. (Y/N) immediately darted into her wardrobe, picking out her outfit that she planned the previous night, her favourite (F/C) oversized shirt, and a pair of denim shorts that were decorated with miniature amethyst crystals. She stuffed the over length of her shirt into her pants, making sure her slim tail didn't snag on anything. Then snatched her (F/C) hair tie, pulling her short (H/C) hair into a cute little ponytail. Yes, she may be the princess of the Ender dimension, but she undoubtedly didn't act the part.
(Y/N) darted through her opened bedroom door. Her bare feet pattered along the end stone floor, she sprinted as fast as she could, believing that if she stopped, her feet would ice over. Her eldest and further most tender-hearted servant, Shirley, came into view down the hall. As (Y/N) got nearer, more of Shirley's features became more apparent. Her hair was level to her elderly shoulders and was the identical colour of graphite, cloudy grey streaks embellished it. She was enchantingly beautiful for her age, the scars accenting her face beheld stories, each vastly different from the other. Shirley was the head guard for the previous King, who was slaughtered by the blood thirsty hands of the humans.

(Y/N)'s heels stuck into the floor, causing her to come to a halt at Shirley's feet.
"Calm down darling, you might hurt yourself! We don't want that on your birthday do we?" Shirley chuckled while (Y/N) ran circles.
"Sorry Shirley, but I can't stop! My feet will freeze!" (Y/N)'s sweet voice bounces as she jogs, taking small breaths in between each pause.
"Well, then. I guess you can't stop can you? I believe there is a surprise for you in the kitchen, how about you run there as fast as you can!" Shirley grips the wrapped box in her hands contentedly, enjoying the sweet child's company.
"YES YES YES!! YAY YAY YAY!! Thank you Mum- I mean Shirley!" (Y/N)'S voice chimes over her pattering feet, sprinting in the direction of the kitchen. Her slender tail glided behind her as her ears were perked forward joyously. Shirley smiled cheerfully as she watched (Y/N) exit her view.

(Y/N) bolts into the kitchen, expecting her servants to be present. But she was greeted by the lights to be switched off, and nobody to be found. (Y/N)'s incautious instincts notified her to flick the lights on, and that's just what she did.
"SURPRISE!" The sudden break of silence startled (Y/N) to the floor. She screamed in agony, but it wasn't from the fall. It was caused by....
