The next morning the mares woke up and went to their houses to pack for the trip. At first, Feather wanted to back out, but a good word from Mocha and Cloud made her give in. Feather was nervous about going to see the Prince. She wasn't even sure if they would be able to see him. However, Breeze reassured her that an audience with the Prince was a given opportunity everyday. Hopefully, the friends would make it in time to see him.

They were now on a train headed to the Kingdom of Ethelin, home to the Prince of Wisdom and many other important ponies.

"Breeze, are you okay?" Breeze turned away from the window she was looking out of and looked at Mocha, who had a worried look on her face.

"Of course I'm...actually...I don't think I am."

"What's wrong?" Feather asked. "This was your idea after all."

"Feather!" Cloud exclaimed. "You don't have to be rude about it."

"It's fine." Breeze looked at Feather. "I'm not talking about seeing the Prince. I was thinking about that stallion...the one who looked like me."

"You said he was the one from your nightmare, right?" Mocha said. Breeze nodded.

"Yeah..." Breeze felt a shiver run down her body. "Just knowing he's real makes me so nervous."

"How come?" Cloud asked. "He didn't seem all that dangerous."

"You don't understand." Breeze shook her head. "You don't feel what I feel...he's evil. So is the other one."

"Toffee?" Feather spoke up. "Rude, yes. Evil...I didn't feel anything."

"We need to be careful." Breeze said as she looked back out the window at the rolling hills. "I don't know why they're here or what they could be doing on the Trail of Night...but we need to find out."

"I'm sure the Prince will have an answer." Mocha said.

The mares had finally made it to the Kingdom of Ethelin and when they made it to the Prince's palace, they were only met by a royal guard who refused to let them enter.

"But you don't understand," Breeze tried to explain. "This is an important situation! We could be in danger!"

"No one can see the Prince, right now." The Guard said, taking a step until he was close to Breeze's face. She cowered from his close proximity. "Go away."

"O...okay." Breeze said softly as she backed away.

"No!" Cloud said, stepping towards the guard. "We need to see him now!"

"If I tell you again that he is unavailable, I'll have to have you removed by force." The guard glared at Cloud with his icy blue eyes. "Turn away."
