"I've packed bags for you all with essentials that you'll need on your trip through the forest and up to the mountain."

It was morning time and the three friends, along with the Prince and Nadi, were standing in the courtyard having finished their plans from last night. Breeze was looking at the ground nervously. Mocha was watching Nadi fly around in circles. And Cloud was hovering in the air, staring at Prince Shan in excitement.

"This is going to be so crazy." Cloud commented as she flapped her wings faster.

"Don't think of this as something that's going to be easy." Prince Shan looked at the three of them in turn. "This will probably be the hardest thing you've ever done in your life. There will be trials that may be too much for you to handle."

"We'll be fine, Prince Shan." Mocha commented before giving Breeze a smile. "We have a special friend we need to find. Nothing will stand in our way."

"I'm glad to hear that." The Prince turned to the door and called for two guards.

"Nadi, you can't go." Prince Shan said to the female guard.

"Aw," she said in sadness before changing back to her original self. The guard next to her stared at her in shock before bowing.

"I never noticed it was the princess beside me." he said.

"It's alright." the prince replied. "Her disguises are getting better by the day. You are not to blame. Please, go and retrieve a real royal guard to escort these mares through the portal to their home town."

"Portal?" Breeze said.

"Yes," with a shine of his horn, a hole in the room opened, glowing and swirling with many colors. "Through here, you can be back in your town. From there, my guards will escort you through the forest to the entrance. However, that's as far as they will go. the rest will be up to you three."

"How long will it take for us to get to the mountain?" Breeze asked the prince.

"It should take you approximately three days." He replied.

"Do you know how dangerous the forest really is?" Mocha asked.

"Don't worry about it!" Cloud said with a huge smile. "Nothing will be able to stop us!"

"That type of attitude has made me slightly concerned." The Prince said causing Cloud to float to the ground. A look of shame crossed her face.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to stay positive." She replied.

"Wile I understand that, I also want you to stay cautious." The Prince commented. "Be on alert at all times. The closer you get to the mountain, the more unrealistic things may seem."

"Like what?" Breeze asked,.

"I wish I could say." He replied. "Overall, just stay true to yourselves and to one another. If you do that, you'll be able to overcome most of the obstacles. And if any one of you come in contact with your counterpart, don't hesitate to help each other. Overcoming your desires can be very tough on your own."

"We understand." Mocha said with a nod. Just then the real royal guards trotted into the room. Nadi quickly flew at the mares and tackled them in a hug.

"Please be safe, okay!" Nadi said. "I'm ordering you as the Princess to come back safely."

The mares smiled at the little filly and hugged her back.

"We'll be fine, Princess." Cloud said. "Don't worry. Just focus on your kingdom. I'm sure you have those you want to protect."

At that, Nadi mind wandered to a colt she knew and a blush came upon her white mane.

"Of course!" She replied before going to stand next to her brother. The Prince nodded his head as the mares and guards stepped through the portal.

Their journey had begun.
