The mares were all left baffled by Nadi's reply. Breeze had tried to get her to elaborate, but the filly had already climbed the steps and opened a door that led to a palace hall.

Drapes of silver and purple hung from the pillars and a beautiful purple rug laces with gold ran along the floor. Statues of pony guards lines the stone walls and colorful glass let in different colors of light from outside.

At one end of the hall was a pair of huge mahogany French doors and the other end intersected with another hallway.

"Just stay quite." Nadi instructed quietly as she observed the hall. "I'll take you to the Prince's workplace, but we have to be careful."

"How do you know all of this stuff?" Mocha asked as she peeked into the hall. "Have you been in here a lot?"

"Too many times and too long to count." Nadi rolled her eyes in annoyance at that fact. It seemed like an odd thing to do for Mocha, but she didn't question it.

"Which way do we go?" Cloud asked.

"We go that way and turn left." Nadi pointed to the end of the hall that intersected another. "There's going to be a staircase that'll led to the main floor his workplace is on. However, there will be many guards on that floor, so we'll have to be patient and quiet."

"I'm so nervous." Breeze said. "This feels wrong. We'll be in huge trouble if we're caught by the royal guards."

"Then let's not get caught." Nadi said with a smile before she inched into the hallway.

"How do you know where the Prince's workplace is?" Cloud whispered as they reached the end of the hall. Nadi peeked around it before gesturing for the girls to follow.

"I've been around this entire palace." They reached the steps and began to climb them. "I know where every single room is."

"Seems like you've been here a lot then." Feather commented.

"I have."

"So have you explored everything?"

"Of course not." Nadi replied as they neared the top. "There's so much more I need to find out."

"Breeze observed the flying filly who didn't seem to be nervous at all. She had warned them that they would all have to be careful, but Nadi herself didn't even seem to be taking her advice into consideration.

Once at the top of the steps, Nadi poked her head into the hallway, looking around before turning to them.

"Okay, there's a guard posted right outside the workroom to the left." Nadi explained. "I'll distract the guard and once you see your opening, head straight for the door and enter."
