I wake up to the welcoming smell of coffee and an empty space beside me on Luke's bed.

I wander into the kitchen and see Luke leaning against the counter, sipping a cup of coffee. His hair is not styled up into a quiff yet and is flopping onto his forehead, a few blonde strands falling in front of his eyes.

"I made coffee." He smiles when he notices me standing there.

"Thanks." I nod, feeling more than uncomfortable having just woken up and being around Luke. I must look like a mess. I might feel slightly more comfortable if Luke looked bad too, but he actually looks really cute as he brushes his hair away from his blue eyes, which are shining just as bright as ever.

I walk past Luke and pour some hot coffee into a mug for myself. "How was your sleep?" I ask Luke, waiting for my coffee to cool down a little.

"It was great, actually. Your's?" He takes another sip of his coffee. I can't understand how he can drink it while it's so hot.

"So was mine." I smile back.

"What do you want to do today?" Luke asks. "Like, what do you want to do once I've taken you to your apartment? Are you going to stay there?"

I nod slowly. "Yeah... I will stay there. To talk to Toby. I want him to know that he needs to apologise to you for breaking your nose."

"He needs to apologise to you. But I know it won't count for anything, because he'll just hurt you again." Luke replies bluntly.

"Luke, I love him." I have no idea why I am trying to explain myself to Luke.

"Why? You can't let him walk all over you like this! If you keep going back to him, he will just keep doing it! He doesn't think there are any consequences for what he's doing!" His voice is getting louder and angrier.

"Well, maybe there are no consequences! I will always go back to him, because I love him! And some people are worth sticking around for!" I yell back.

Luke laughs loudly, but there is no humor in it. "Fuck, Sienna! You do realise how stupid you sound, right?"

I ignore his comment and storm into his bedroom, slamming the door behind me. I was being extremely rude to Luke, especially after how kind he was to let me stay in his house, but his words are infuriating. He has no right to be telling me what to do about my relationship. And calling me stupid? I huff loudly and change into last night's clothes.

I open the door a crack and scurry into the bathroom, washing the excess eye makeup off from under my eyes and walk back out.

Luke is sitting on a sofa in the living room and I finally notice that he is still wearing no shirt.

"I'm ready when you are." I say from behind him.

Luke turns around to face me, before standing up and going into his bedroom. He is in there for less than two minutes, before coming out to meet me in the living room, wearing black skinny jeans, a plain black t-shirt, and black Vans. I have always liked black clothing, but Luke wearing it makes me love it even more.

"Let's go." He grabs his car keys and phone, which reminds me to grab my own phone and purse before following him out the door.

I walk behind Luke and watch him run his hand through his flattened hair, putting it up into a quiff. I drag a hand through my own tangled hair, attempting to make myself look at least little more presentable before facing my boyfriend.

Luke stops walking for a moment so I can catch up and walk beside him. We get into his car, while I am still fixing my hair.

I feel Luke's eyes on me so I turn to look at him.
