Sometimes I have a really hard time describing what it's like to be bound as an Icon. For She Who Was Mirrah, particularly. Her soul is panicking, but her body is calm... she has no outward expression of her terror. That's the nightmare she lives in. In Chapter Seven, the scene where she is waking up, where she stumbles around in her room wondering if she's insane, if someone were looking through a window, they might not be able to tell that anything is wrong.
