August pov

I had my headphones in when we pulled up to Ryan's house I no longer think of him as my dad

Knock knock

The police officers knocked till some lady answered they talked and talked she looked my way and gave me. A smile I could tell it was fake so I gave her one back

" He all yours now let mr mccarton know his court date is in 2 months " the lawyer said

"Ok thank you I will " the lady said

They left  and I watched him drive off

As I turned around she pulled me by my shirt pulling me into​ the house knocking​ me to the floor I cought myself but hurt my wrist in the process

" Ow what the hell was that for" I say

She slapped me

" Don't Curse in my house 2 don't talk back don't think you can just walk in here like you own the place I don't need you in here messing things up for my family your dad doesn't love you he just got you you to get back at  your whore of a mother why you think he's been away for 4years he has a new and better son to love " she yelled

" my mom is not that I hate you you- you-you skank   " I yelled back

"AUGUST DONT YELL AT YOUR MOTHER LIKE THAT " Ryan yelled

I turned around to find him standing behind me with a little boy beside him I looked at him dumbfounded like this hoe is not my mother

" she is not my mother my mother is at  home and this lady hit me " I told him

"Baby he liein you know I wouldn't hit a child unless they need it " she said walking to him and kissing his cheek

  " So you believe her " I asked

"Why wouldn't I you was always a trouble kid " he said

" Fuck you I hate you I wish I was back with my mama " I yelled

"What the hell you just say to me ? " He said taking his belt off

I began to get scared remembering​ what happened when I was younger the last time he whooped me

MY EYES WAS CLOSED SHUT TRYING TO FIGHT THE TEARS AND THE PAIN

Flash back over

I started bagging up

He lunched at me grabbed my arm pulling me upstairs to I'm guessing is my room

He whooped me bad whips was on my leg and arms 

" Awwe stop I'm sorry I won't curse again please stop awwe mama I want my mommy please " I yelled but he kept going

" For now on u call me dad and not my real name  call the lady down stairs mom for now on she is your mother

"You will no longer be allowed to be in contact with dove  you will treat us with respect no out burst no more getting in trouble at school you and your brother will be going to be going to the same school you are to meet him after school and walk straight home unless I say different " my dad yell

"I-i underst-an-d....dad  " I whimpered  I was scared  of him I just wanna go home

"JACI COME HERE " MY DAD YELL

A kid who looked to be 11 walked in on his phone

" Yes dad" Jaci said

" This is your brother August he will be staying with us for a while " he said

" Hi I'm Jaci big fan I listen to all your songs " he say holding out his hand

I looked at him and just replied with a simple

"Thanks"

  "Ok than " Jaci said

" JACI COME HERE I NEED YOU " his mom yelled

"Coming  mother " Jaci yelled back

" Get changed dinner will be ready in 10 " he told me and left out of my room

" I just want my mama "I whispered

I did as told and got changed

10 minutes later

Jaci pov

I just got done out the shower I was listening to August song take over

I still couldn't believe he is my brother I always wanted a brother

I really wanted to get to know him better so we can get that brother bond

So I went to go see him

I knocked on the door

" August you in their " I say through the door

All I could hear was crying so I just walked in to see my brother crying

" You ok August ? " I asked him

"N-no I just want to go home to my mom I don't like it hear my dad hates me that woman hits me because of who my mother is I don't like it " he said crying

Before I knew it I  grabbed him  and just hugged him he didn't pull away he just cried in my arms

" Don't worry big brother I know I don't really know you or you don't really know me but I love you bro and I always will you will be back with your mom soon " I tell him

He pulled away

" Thanks again sorry for crying on you " he say

"No prob anytime man " I Tell em

" Hey for no on it's you and me I got you you got me ok bro " I Tell em

He just smiled " just you and me"

We high fives and laughed

We talked the rest of the day before we knew it was night time

" Jaci didn't you hear me calling you " my said coming into the room

" Ughh... No mom I was talking to my brother and wasn't paying attention ...sorry

" Oh...it's time to go to bed come on " she said

"Ok goodnight August it was super nice talking to you " I said and walked out  my mother and August was the only one left

August pov

I was still sitting up in my bed when my "mother" walked up to me and punched me in the eye I fell to the ground in pain

"Ohwa my eye " I let out a loud cry

She beat me the rest of the night..........
