Dove pov

I ran to the front desk while Ryan brought August in

" Help my son needs help " I say panicking

"CHLOE" I hear ryan yell behind me

I turned to see him holding auggie

He was shaking and foaming at the mouth

" My baby " I yell running to him

About 5 nurses ran over to us

" We need to take him to emergency " a nurse yell

" Where are you taking him " I asked as they took August out of Ryan arms and putting him on the stretcher and strapping him down

" Ma'am what ever is wrong with this child is serious and if we don't help him now he won't make it to see tomorrow" the nurse said

Then they took a foaming August away

Them words echoed in my head I threw a crying fit

"Ryan I hope he be ok he's my only child " I say crying

" He's gonna be fine babe " he tells me holding me tight as we sat down

" I need to call my mom,Claire, " I say getting my phone out

I called them both and they were on there way

Few minutes later

My mom and my sister came over to me

" Dove sweetie how's he doing?" She ask pulling me into a hug

" I don't know mom he was throwing up all last night and I couldn't do anything to help him " I say crying into her shoulder

" It's gonna be ok baby August will be fine and running around the house again " she say pulling away from me

I just smiled

" August Jerome mccarton ?" I hear

"Thats us " Ryan say getting up from talking to Claire

" Is my baby gonna be ok" I say wiping my tears

" Your lucky you brought him in when you did or else he would have died " the doctor say

" What's wrong with him" Ryan asked

" Well your son was poisoned " he tells us

"POISONED!" we all yelled

" Yes I'm sorry it was rat poison to be exact " he said

" But your son will be fine he's lost alot of fluids so nothing but rest and water but we pumped his stumach and he should be fine but he might countiue to throw up " she says

" Can we see him " I asked

" Yes you can room 54B be very quite he sleeping " the doctor say and took us to auggies room and soon left

We all walked in

My mom sat in a chair ,Claire sat next to her

Me and Ryan stood by August bed

" He look so pale and lifeless ....who would do this to our son Ryan who " I asked

I was crying in his arms
" What could he have eaten...what did he eat at my party yesterday " I ask

" I don't know baby it was catered " he replied

" Oh I'll just ask him when we wakes up " I tell him
