Ryan pov

I woke up to feel the bed completely empty less my alarm clock didn't even go off

I got ready and went to August room to wake him up

" Auggie up it's time to get ready " I shook him to wake up

" I don't want to" he starts having a fit good Lord this boy is almost 14
And he still throws a fit

"What about your mom" I looked at him

he gets up and gets ready I chuckled and went downstairs to make
Him breakfast "RYAN IM READY" he yelled coming down the stairs I sigh my own son calls me Ryan I felt like a loser

" Okay curly fries let's go " I chuckled at the nickname I use to call him

" Ryan don't call me that " he walks pass and into the car

The car ride was silent when we arrived at the hospital he runs in I park the car and walk inside

We checked in and they gave us our visitors pass and we went on our way

August basically ran to doves room

" August slow down bud " I yell

"We're already here " he yell back walking into the room done was in

" Mom Ryan called me curly fries today......I kinda missed him calling me that and making me laugh " I heard him say as I was walking in that put a smile on my face I walked in to see the doctor hooking up an ultrasound
" Wait sir what is that for " " I can't tell unless you are her partner

A smile started spread across my face I looked at August and his smile faded

" Auggie what's wrong ?" I asked walking over to him

" Oh I'm happy Im just scared what if I'm not able to protect him or her I wasn't able to do that for my mom " he said

"Listen your going to be a great big brother I know you're going to spoil your sibling because your so spoiled " I say laughing

By now the doctor had walked out

" Hey I am not " he started pouting

"Auggie your almost 14 and you still throw a fit " I tell him

" You here that mom your pregnant and im gonna be a big brother " I say standing over her

I felt her cheek and brushed her hair off

" I put my ear to her stumach and smiled "

" Hi brother at least I hope that's what I hope you are I know you're not here yet but I love you already your gonna be so cool and so sporty just like me your gonna love football " I say
