*END OF FLASHBACK*

Toni's Point of View

"Hey, all you Hayniacs! Don't forget that Hunter Hayes will be coming back to his hometown of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana on May 17th! Tickets are on sale now!" The DJ on the radio shouts through the car speakers. "OH MY GOD! Vivian, we have to get tickets!" I beam from the driver's seat. Vivian laughs at my excitement. "Oh gosh, I remember when you first fell in love with him at Roman's." "I was actually just thinking about that!" I reply. "See? This is why we're best friends. We have, like, BFF telepathy." I almost lose control of the wheel laughing.

I tell Viv to go to his website and use my credit card to buy the tickets on her phone. When she finishes purchasing them, she says, "I think it's a little crazy that a 22 year old is obsessed with a guy she went to school with that she never even paid attention to." "I know," I begin, "And I beat myself up every day for not just going up to him and saying 'hi'." I shoot back, giving her the 'don't-make-me-feel-any-worse-than-I-already-do' look. "Plus", I add, "He wanted crazy." Viv giggles. "Yeah, he certainly got it."

Hunter's Point of View

Man, it feels so great to be back in Louisiana! I've missed it. I've been planning to come back, but recording new music and concerts and T.V. appearances all got it the way of that. But thankfully, Dann managed to schedule a show in my hometown. I'm getting pumped while going through the set list when the tour bus pulls up to the venue. I look up from all the papers scattered on the table and glance out the window. I see a couple of fans walk past the bus, pointing and giggling to each other. I hear one little girl say, "That's a big bus, Mommy! I hope Hunter is comfy in there." I am. Being on tour just feels so right. Most people would think being trapped in a small tour bus with 6 other guys would be Hell, and trust me, some days are better than others, but it's where I make my best music. I always feel so 'at-home' here.

Toni's POV

I start getting ready for the concert that I have been waiting what seemed like forever to attend. "We're sitting front row, do you think he'll notice us?" Viv asks, while putting in her sparkly blue earrings that I bought her for her birthday 5 months ago. "Third time's a charm." I rebuttle. I've seen Hunter in concert twice, and this is my third go-round. I twirl around for Viv and ask, "Do I look okay?" I simply have on a plain red shirt, black jeans, and my trusty black and white converse.

"You look gorgeous, as always." She replies. "Thanks, Viv. Right back at ya." Vivian really does look stunning. She's got on a black peplum top, a blue pencil skirt, and black kitten heels. Viv always dresses up, whether she's going to an opera or to a baseball game. I quickly run into the bathroom and throw on some concealer, blush, lipgloss, and mascara, just the usual. I've never been one to overload with eyeliner or foundation or heavy makeup, while Vivian, on the other hand, is obsessed with makeup. Finally, we double check, making sure we had everything; tickets, lipgloss, money, gum; And we're out the door.

I pull into the parking lot and we hop out of the car, rushing to our seats to avoid a crowd. It's not indoors, it's more like a festival, but it only has a stage for Hunter, some food trucks and food stands, and a few port-a-pottys. We've been waiting for about 15 minutes when finally, some guy makes an annoucement introducing Hunter onto the stage. He busts out onto the stage, preparing himself to start playing something, and I'm about to throw my hands up into the air and scream happily, but as soon as he's in my field of vision, he's staring right at me.

Hunter's POV

I'm just about to start playing the first chords to "More than I Should", when I see the most beautiful girl standing front row. I freeze. She's staring right at me. I don't know what to do. I obviously have to go out and perform, but I'm frozen in my tracks by this girl.
