*Nicole's P.O.V*
"WHAT. WAS. THAT?!" Brian yelled slamming my bound body against the wall.
"What was what?" I wheezed in a irritated tone, for the wind had been knocked out of me.
"Your little show! Do you have any
idea how much trouble I'm in?!"
"That was the goal!" obviously!
"Nicole!" Brian growled.
"Yes?" I chirped.
"Ahh!!!" Brian dropped me and threw his hands in the air and marched from the room.
Elliot shakes his head and guides me away. In the hallway we passed a group of the pack children. They excitedly gathered around my legs, chattering incoherently over each other.
I smiled and laughed lightly. "For heavens sake! Slow down, one at a time."
One little girl stepped forward bravely with a wide smile spread across her face. "Will you come play with us Luna?"
I opened my mouth, yet stopped my self short with a sad smile. "I'm afraid not today. Alpha has me under house arrest, so he wont let me play with you."
The children pouted. "Can't we ask alpha?"
I fought hard to hide me grin "I think that's a wonderful idea."
The children ran off to find Brian and Elliot continued to push me to my room, chuckling behind me.
*Brian's P.O.V*
I stood at the meeting door, bidding the elders farewell. Near all of them glared at me as they walked out, each one angry with actions of mine I don't even know about.
"Alpha?" I turned to see a group of children with pouty lips. I could feel the elders eyes on my back. "Why won't you let Luna come play with us?"
I clenched my mouth shut. Cheap shot Nicki. I forced a smile at the children. "She has work to do," I lied.
"Can she play with us tomorrow?"
My jaw worked to grind my teeth. I plastered the smile on again. "Of course."
The children, satisfied, skipped off to play whatever game it was they wished to play. I receive a few quizzing glared from the last elders to leave, then made my way to my office where I rested my head on my desk.
This is going to be a rough game.
