"Get your ugly arse up." My father screamed in my ear. I started to sit up slowly, but I think I was moving to slow because out of no where I was ripped out of my some what bed by my hair. Letting out an ear piercing scream my father started slamming my head against the wall using a lot of force. I was starting to get dizzy, and I didn't like it. It felt like my head was spinning out of control and I had no way of stopping it. Being slammed against the wall for the last time he made dent the shape if my head. Everything went black. It was silent. I couldn't move. It meant one thing, I had blacked out.

About two or three hours later I regain consciousness knowing I was extremely late for school which meant detention. Quickly throwing on a pair of jeans and my only jumper I raced out the door and literally sprinted the whole way to school.

The first thing I noticed when I walked through the massive doors of the school building was Luke and Ashton arguing. To say I was surprised was an understatement, I was in complete shock.

Ashton's p.o.v
Last night Luke called telling me what he had done to Nessa. It was making me feel sick knowing that my best friend did this to her. Even though I did it too, I secretly hated it. I'm hoping and praying that now him and Nessa are partners he will realise that she isn't a bad person and what he has done is wrong.

The lads and I were sitting on the oval being our usual loud and annoying selves. It didn't take long for the topic to change to the only girl we ever talk about though. I had zoned out of the conversation until I heard the one word I have been dreading to hear. Rape.

I couldn't be apart of this anymore. Raping her was just taking it to far. "You guys make me sick!" I spat at them. "Where did that outburst come from?" Dumb and Dumber said in sync. Dumb being Calum and Dumber being obversely Michael.

I was so furious, so I just got up and went to class early.

During class I got a text from Luke telling me to meet him at our lockers. Great. "Excuse me miss." I called to my teacher miss Roslyn. "Yes Ashton, what is it this time?" She replied quit rudely. "Can I go to the restroom?" I glared at her. Before she even answered I got up and started to walk out the door. "Ashton, you need this!" She yelled holding out a pass. I quickly snatched it and stormed out.

Making my way to the lockers I got another text telling me to hurry up. Just for that I took longer to get there.

Finally getting to the lockers Luke pinned me. "What the fuck dude!" I shouted. "Why the hell are you backing out on us?" Luke shouted back probably louder then what I did. "Are you kidding me?" I asked pushing the person who I thought was my friend. "What you are doing Luke is disgusting and I am done with hurting a girl who has done nothing wrong!" "She fucking got me suspended Ash!" Luke screamed. I could see he was getting more and more angry as the minutes went by. "Let it go Luke. That was nearly two years ago." I stated. In the end it pretty much turned into a yelling match.

Noticing that someone was watching by the front doors of the school I shoved Luke so he could see. "What the h." He started but cut himself off.

"Great this is perfect." Luke smirked at Nessa. Before anything happened I dragged him back to his class.

Ashton is not going to get away with this. I don't care if his right or not Mute Girl deserves this and that's the end of it. I just can't believe he would go against us, his meant to be our best mate. But instead his acting like our enemy. Maybe tomorrow he will be back to normal, maybe his sick and that's why his acting like this.

Only having fifteen minutes of class left that thing walked through the door. "Sit next to Luke and copy his notes." The teacher said to her. "And you have a detention at lunch." He added on.

As soon as she sat down I whispered to her, "you don't need any notes." Looking down at her page I saw her write 'I know'. This girl is more messed up then I thought. Turning my head back to the teacher I heard a sniffle come from her. Did I say that out loud? Whoops, oh well.

Waiting impatiently the bell finally went and everyone except for the freak hurried out of the room.
