"The pain we feel will only make us stronger"

"Ms. Reyes, you must be feeling excited and anxious! The wedding is three days from now" Gordon, a reporter of New York time asks me.

"I'm having pre wedding jitters actually.. but I can't wait to be Mrs. Mathews! I've just had my last fitting a few hours ago and then we have finalized the guest list and everything so.. yeah.." shrugging my shoulders and smiling. Everyone smiled and nodded.

"Where will the honeymoon be held?" Elena asks, a reporter from CNN.

"Dillon like to keep it a secret for now, he haven't even told me where he's taking me but anywhere with him is special for me." I answered them truthfully. Yes, me and Dillon have been on speaking terms. He told me about the wedding plans and I've talked with the planners. We had dinner with my family and his and tried to be civilized with each other but the tension between us is still so strong that some of our closest friends feel it. I'm staying back at my place.. He tried to talk through me but he knows better than to mess with me again.

After the short interview, Caroline and I headed to the my next appointment. An exclusive interview with Summer Dalton in her show. Dillon is on his way too, it's the third interview we have on national TV together in the span of five days. How I managed to be sane and smiling.. I do not know.

"You're still not talking about it right?" Caroline asks out of the blue.

"If I want to stay looking like a lovestruck girl then it has to stay this way. The media just got more crazier with the wedding happening in three days and any slip of emotion in my face can make or break us." I answered her.

"I'm just sad, you two were doing so great and we thought you were falling for him and him to you but... well love takes time I guess.."

I wish I'm not in this situation with him, cause honest to God.. I missed him. I miss him teasing me and his laughs. Our playful banter and his touch. How I miss his touch and his hand on mine.. And his lips. I groan internally, Oh Dillon.. what have you done to me.

"Were here, let's get you dolled up!" Caroline says as she walks ahead of me and into the building. Harriet was already in the dressing room together with my new make up artist named Oriana.

"C'mon dear, let's do this!" They changed me into a black long sleeve dress, my hair is on a ponytail and my make up is light and fresh.

A knock came, Caroline opens the door and a familiar crown of blonde hair came into view. His baby blue eyes found mine.
"I saw the interview you just had today." Dillon walks to me never breaking his gaze on me.

"Can you leave us for a moment? Please?" The three girls nodded and left fast, closing the door behind them.

Crossing my arms I lifted a brow. "What do you want?" I ask him. Dillon sat opposite me and crossed his arms to his chest too.

"We need to talk and fix this. I can't- I just can't do this anymore, this you and I not talking and acting civilised. It's killing me dammit." He runs his hands through his hair making it messy. He has bags under his eyes and he looks lost and tired. He looks just like me..

"I don't wanna talk right now. Please, we have an interview and I want to focus on it. If we talk about it now it'll ruin both our minds and I don't wanna embarrass you. Please Dillon." He looks at me as his handsome face turns into a frown. He nodded.
