Finally it's back with a super long chapter. I have been working hard on this Chapter for 3 days so I hope you all like it. I'm soooo tired.

Phil's POV

It's monday and my first big day working for Mr. Howell himself. I'm nervous because I really want this job to go well, not only is it a hefty pay rise but it will always look amazing when I decide to start my own publishing firm. I'm already out of bed because Jake woke me up really early just so I wouldn't be late. I'm fresh out of the shower and I put my trackies and shirt on before heading downstairs for some breakfast. I clomp my way down the stairs and smell waffles and eggs and I quickly make my way to the kitchen only to see jake and Kev in conversation and Jake standing over a waffle iron, the picture makes me smile. "Good morning Green bean!" jake greets me causing kev to turn and look of at me with a smile. "Morning Jakey. Morning Kev!" I chime back and sit down next to kevin. "Are you ready for today?" kev asks as Jake sets a plate of food in front of me then kevin. "Thank you. And yes I guess I am. Just ready to start this new job." I smile back and start to eat. We all eat breakfast talking and laughing before I get up and get changed.

After getting dressed I make way downstairs again and out to the living room to grab my new and improved briefcase, thanks to Jamison who bought it for me. I smile as I grab when I hear the cab honk it's horn. I say a quick bye to Jake and Kev before heading out. The cabbie is friendly and talks to me a little before putting all his focus on the road. *ping*

I smile as I reply back to James and then I feel the cab come to a stop and I look up to see that we are in front of the building. I jump out and then pay the cabbie before turning and heading into the building. For some reason everything feels so new even though I have been working here for over a month. I pull out my badge and head for the elevator and press floor 25. As I make my way up and give myself a pep talk. Lucky for me no one else enters my lift so I don't look like a weirdo. I hear the final ping of the elevator and the doors open. I quickly step out making my way to Cherry the receptionist to see if I have to check in or anything. "Why Hello Mr. Lester! How are you this morning?" she smiles brightly at me. "I'm fine Cherry, how are you? Also, do I need to check-in or anything?" I reply with a smile. "I'm doing great. And No you don't, all you have to do is scan your badge on the device to your left and it will let me know you are here. You also do it when you leave." she smiles and gestures to the scanning machine on the other side of her desk. I scan my badge and then go through the doors, as I do she says she will let Dan know I have arrived.

I enter my new office and unpack my laptop to charge it. I go over to my new desktop and login in with my username: LesterP password: PubLaw1456 it gives me an option to change the password so I change it to BuffyVampSlayer30. I chuckle to myself about the password then I go and check my email to see if Dan sent me a to-do list or not but he hasn't so I surf the web for a little looking at new house plants I can buy before logging off. I go and grab a book from my briefcase and sit down on the my couch and start to read. I got a good distance into my book when I hear a clearing of the throat and turn my head to see Dan leaning against my office door. "Mr. Howell, Sorry I didn't see you there! Please come in!" I say standing up and walking over to my desk. "It's fine Phil. How are you settling into your new office?" he ask with a big smile showing off his adorable dimple. "I'm settling in well, really love the new office. Is there any work that I need to do? Go over any legal information?" I ask. "The legal department will be drawing up some paper today and tomorrow so wednesday we will go over all the legal procedures that you have to follow while editing." He replies by sitting down on the seat across from me. "Okay, so for now I just sit here and do whatever?" I ask confused, "I can go back down to publishing today and tomorrow until the legal stuff is ready?" I suggest and Dan doesn't seem to like that idea. "No, you work up here now plus I actually have a few emails I need you to look over. That's what I was coming over here to say." he gruffs out and I ask him to please send them to me. He leaves and 10 minutes I have 3 new word documents waiting for me to edit.
