(Frisk pov)
I stare at the two buttons in front of me: reset and continue.
~flash back~
I walk towards the deep hole and as I expected I trip on a root. "AAHHHH, umph" I groan as I land on a patch of flowers.

As I slowly get up and start to walk to the door where I expect to meet flowey, I see a shadowy figure before me. They seem to be coming toward me, and I now see they are human. I squint harder to try and define them.

I know exactly who they are.

Chara.

She looks at me with her big brown eyes. "This is getting boring, right?" she says.

"What do you mean...?", I reply. Chara is a good comrade that has been with me ever since I've fell in the underground for the first time. She is well aware of all the countless resets I've done, and remembers them all. Including the true resets. Today, she seems to be up to something. Up to something bad.

"Let's play a race!" she smiles.

She opens up her mouth to say something, and what comes out is something that shocks me.

"For a change of plan, let's try to go genocide. It won't matter anyways, you've already killed monsters in the neutral route countless times. It will be so less boring."

"Huh?"

"What do you say, partner?"

...

My hand quivers over the reset button.

I don't want to do genocide, but she has a point. It's boring to do the same thing over and over again. I'll just reset it anyways, and everything I've done will be gone.

I press the reset button.
