Emma and I awkwardly enter James' house and are immediately greeted by Olivia Colton and her minion Kat.

Olivia is in an inebriated state and wrapps her arms around me.

"Rose, I love you, why do you never come out to these parties."

Kat looks uncomfortable, almost jealous.

Emma rushes to my rescue and unhooks me from Olivia's grasp.

She passes her to Kat,

"Come on Liv, let's get you some water."

I mouth the words "thank you" to Emma. She winks at me then randomly walks away.

It's takes me a minute to realise why, James is walking in my direction, mildly drunk, but not quite Olivia Colton standards,

"Rose you made it."

He says with a mildly smug grin.

I awkwardly smile.

"So you want a drink?" He offers.

I nod and he takes my hand leading me to the drinks table.

I abandon the Pinot Noir on the table, still in the bag so that James doesn't judge me.

James pours a mixture of liquid into a cup and passes it to me, I take a sip and cough.

"What the fuck is in this?"

He chuckles, "A little bit of everything... I didn't think you'd be a big drinker Rose"

I laugh, "Oh, you've thought about it."

His face turns pale and he looks terrified.

"Wow, James. Are you okay? You need to sit do..."

He pulls in and kisses me.
