Chapter 9:Samandriel's first words

Days have past and Samandriel turned 2,now let's see what little Samandriel is up to...

Gabriel's pov
Samandriel is certainly a handful,one time I caught him riding on Riots back!don't worry he didn't break Riots back,I made sure of that.he has my energy and Sam's nerdy personality,so I thought what better way to waste his energy then to take him to the park!we'll go on the swings,get some food and ice cream it will be fun!i went to Samandriel's room and saw him playing with Riots rubber steak chew toy,then he began chewing it."Alfie no!chew toy bad!"I said taking it out of his mouth,Alfie is his middle name.(ah see what I did there?😏)"you wanna go to the park?"I asked him,he jumped up and down saying words I couldn't understand."I'll take that as a yes!"he wore his hand and I picked him up,"Sammy is taking Samandriel to the park!"I yelled,"Ok make sure you come back home at 5!"Sam yelled back.i opened the front door and closed it when I got outside,then I walked to the car with Samandriel still in my arms.i buckled him into his car seat and got into the car,I turned the key and the car turned on.i plugged in my aux cord and played songs about lollipops,Samandriel clapped his hands.

At the park...

Gabriel's pov
Once we got to the park,Samandriel was bouncing with joy.i took him out of his car seat,he immediately grabbed my hand and ran to the swings."he's so like me.."I thought,he climbed onto the swing seat and said some words which I could only imagine was,"push me papa!"so I smiled and pushed his a bit.
Once we were done at the park Samandriel still had a lot of energy so we went to Ellen's diner,that's were my friend Jo worked.it was not that far from the park so we walked there,once we got there we took our seats.i gave Samandriel a menu and he pointed at what he wanted which was mini steaks and fries,I saw Jo serving some people."hey Jo!"I said to get her attention,she turned to see me and Samandriel."Omg Gabe!"she said as she walked up to us,I hugged her and Samandriel looked confused."this is my son Samandriel!say hi Alfie."I said,he had Sam's shyness.she smiled and said,"well hi little guy!Aren't you the cutest thing?"he got behind me and I said,"he takes it after Sammy."Samandriel and I sat down and Jo took our orders and we waited,she brought Samandriel some coloring pages so he won't get bored.then she came with our food.once we were done she asked,"does Samandriel want some ice cream?"I looked at him and asked Samandriel if he wanted some Ice cream,he nodded and we walked to the drink area.i lifted him up and placed him on the chair,Jo gave him some ice cream and he happily ate it."he's so cute!"Jo said,I smiled and said,"he's mostly got Sammy's looks so it makes sense."as he ate his ice cream he was watching his cartoons on his table,he smiled at one of the Characters who was named Adam."Adam!"he said happily.my jaw dropped,he talked!"i took out my phone and recorded him."what did you say Samandriel?"I asked while I still recorded him,he looked at the camera and said,"Adam!"I sent the video to Sammy.
