One day, he'll show up. One day, he'll open these
doors and walk in. Life will resume; no longer
will it resemble a void. Everything will go back
to the way it was...before.
One day, I'll get a call from him. One day, I'll
answer and hear his voice one last time. Never
again will I call upon imaginary spirits to summon
him to me. One day, he'll just...be there.
One day, we'll laugh together. One day, I'll
hug him and feel accepted. We'll tell jokes as
we listen to his Rock 'N Roll music. One day, I'll
feel...complete.
One day, he'll apologize and mean it. One day,
he'll say he loves me and I'll believe him . We'll
talk about literally any- and everything we want
to. One day, I'll speak to him and say..."I
forgive you."
One day, he'll remember that I exist. One day,
he'll call and I'll ignore it. I'll stop caring and
go on with my life. One day, I'll stop seeing him
as my father. Because one day, he'll come
for me, and one day, he'll be...too late.
