Walking up the steps of Mirror Lake Asylum, to the front doors made me feel nervous and excited all at the same time.
"Well here goes nothing " I said reaching up to the handle on the door, the door creaks when I open it.
The first thing I see as I walk through the big doors is an office table with two doors next to it. The dark haired lady wearing glasses at the desk looks up and smiles at me
"Are you the new intern?" she asks excitedly
"Yeah, that's me" I answer.
"Thank god, I thought you weren't going to show as we hardly have any new interns come in" she explains.
I just looked at her thinking is this place that bad to work at? I have heard stories and rumours but they are all lies right?
"Just go through the doors to your left, then go around the corner to Dr. Soulveren's office and knock on the door" the lady finishes and waves at me.
"Ok thanks" I said back walking through the doors she said. A long hallway awaits me as I pass through the doors; the hallway is not lit up as the front was so it had a gloomy and creepy feeling to it. Coming to the end of the hallway I start to hear voices. As I get closer to the voices, I can hear them more clearly "I heard they stopped the treatment on her" one said. "I hear she killed her last doctor with just her bare-hands" another voice said. I can hear their footsteps coming closer to where I am and they are still talking about the same thing. When they get near me they stop talking about it and looked up at me.
"Hello, I'm the new intern" I reached my hand out for one of them to shake but what I don't expect was one of them to grab my hand an pull me down and whisper in my ear "Watch out for Red Riding Hood" then just stand up straight and walk off just like that with out any kind of warning at all.
"w-what?" I say staring at them as the walk away. I run my hand though my hair, well that wasn't terrifying at all. I shake my head and then turn to keep on walking down this now more creepy hallway. But there is still one question that is going through my head is who is Red Riding Hood?
