Gold sat in a booth exactly where he sat just a week ago waiting on Lacy.

Ruby walked up, "Can I get you something Mr. Gold?"

"Actually I'm waiting on someone miss Lucas." He answer never once breaking his stair at the door.

"Again? Is it with Lacy again?" She begged for answers.

"Not that it's any of your business, but no. Now I suggest you go so your job!"

Ruby just rolled her eyes and walked away. Moments later Regina walked through the door and headed straight for the booth Gold sat in.

"Everyone out. We are closing early today." Granny said watching Regina walk over to Gold. Normally they had quite public spats. Granny was sure that was what was about to happen.

Regina slid into the booth seat across for Gold, "No. we will be civil."

Ruby's mouth hung wide open as she realized what was happening. "They're on a date." She whispered to herself.

She nervously walked over to take their orders. "Um, what can I get you two?"

Gold looked up at her, "Just get me my usual."

"Me too." Regina chimed in.

After dinner Gold walked Regina back to her house.

Gold walked her up the the door holding her hand. When they reached the door he slid one arm around her and pulled her close kissing her.

When the broke apart Gold smirked, "That is how it's suppose to work dearie."

Regina rolled her eyes, "Ok, I'll see you tomorrow dearie." She mocked him slightly. "We will work on getting magic back to Storybrook before the curse is broken."

"Yes, this is getting old." Gold motioned to his lame leg.

"Agreed. Your not nearly as fun when you can't keep up Rumple." She teased.

They shared one more passionate kiss before Regina went into the house, and Gold left.

Regina stood with her back up against the inside of the front door to her large house. She pressed her fingers to her lips and sighed.

"Mom?" She heard Henry's voice, and looked up to see him only a few feet away.

"I thought you where going to Marks house this evening?" She questioned surprised and a bit embarrassed.

"His mom texted you and told you that they had something they had to do. Didn't you get it?"

Regina pulled her phone out of her purse. A text showed up from Mark's mom.

Sorry Regina, we can't come and get Henry. There was an unexpected death in the family.

Regina sighed. "Well I guess it's just you and me tonight."

"And whoever was outside with you. Who was that anyway."

"Just a friend. Why don't you go get some leftovers out of the fridge and we will sit down and eat."

Henry smiled and ran to the kitchen. She took a second to breath before following him to have her second meal of the night.

The next morning Gold arrived at Regina's office around nine in the morning.

He knocked on the door and Regina got up to open it.

"I thought you would be here before now?" She questioned.

"Oh, are you jealous?" He teased her.

"No, just eager to get my magic back."

"If you say so dearie. Where do we start?"

Regina pointed to a large pile of books on the table in Her office.
