Back At Forresters Creations After the Fashion Show is Done.

The one that was feeling dejected the most was the owner of the line herself, Hope Logan. She had put all her expectations on this new collection and it all went wrong. That wasn't how things were supposed to be: she was supposed to get married soon, to the love of her life and her line was supposed to blossom even more than before. But none of this happened and as usual, Steffy was the one responsible.

Because of Steffy, none of the press and people invited had been that much interested in their collection. The collection in itself hadn't been bad; if it had been that, everyone would have understood. No, the problem, once again was Steffy Forrester and her family. It wasn't enough for her to attempt to destroy Hope's upcoming wedding and personal life. No, she had to go and destroy all her hard work too.

Hope was sitting in the office, being comforted by her mother, brother and friend Wyatt. For all their reassurances, she was far from getting better. The presentation of her collection had been a disaster and to top it all, her fiancé was nowhere to be seen.

While they were all feeling down, none could feel the betrayal as much as Eric Forrester. He couldn't fathom what was happening to his family and company. For the first time after Stephanie's death, he had thought that things were finally going fine in his life.

They had all thought that the addition of the Hope Diamond to their new collection was going to be a big hit for the company. It had been a brilliant idea that they had all approved of. And now, it had been for nothing.

Eric: What are we going to do now?

Eric exploded:  How could they do this to me? To their own family?!

Rick: It's obvious that they were jealous because they lost the contest a few months ago.

Brooke: Rick is right, Eric. This is all for revenge because they lost: Thomas because he wasn't chosen as CEO and Steffy because she couldn't have Liam. When she saw the others looking skeptical, she pushed further. Obviously, their little vendetta against the Logans hasn't died, especially for Steffy.

Rick: None of them can ever accept that we're the ones running this company and not them. Steffy always thought that she and her family should be the ones running Forrester Creations because they are the "true Forresters"

Wyatt: Well, it's quite stupid of them to do this. They have shares in the company too.

Eric: Well, I don't know what they want to accomplish with this but I don't like it. I spent years building this company.  I managed to keep it from anyone that wanted to take it from me and I'm not about to let anyone, let alone my own grandchildren destroy it! You lot will have to work hard to get some new ideas that will rival those two.

Rick: We'll have to promote the line further: through the press, the internet.

Wyatt: That's all good and all but we'll have to give them more than that.

Rick: Then we'll have to talk to Katie and see what she can give us in terms of pages in the Spencer Publications' magazines.

Marcus: I don't see what difference that would do. All they're interested in for the moment is Steffy's and Thomas' new company and how we react to it. We have to admit their ideas are like nothing we've seen before: they are revolutionary and not ours. We were the ones that let them walk away.

Rick: Are you actually trying to get us down, Marcus? Cause that doesn't help us any.

Marcus: Sorry if you don't like it, Rick but it's the truth. Those ideas are not new to us. Thomas had them before and wanted to apply them to Forrester Creations but no one would accept the changes.

Rick: That may be true but that wasn't reason enough to do this."

Marcus: I don't see what else they should have done. If Thomas was confident enough about his ideas, I think it was smart of him to use them somewhere else where they would be appreciated. And who else is better to do it than Steffy? She is smart and really good at this. With her on the other side, we're in big trouble.

Hope: I don't see what else she could do against us that could be worse than this. She's just one arrogant and spoils  little girl who thinks everything should be given to her because of who she is!"

Marcus: Hope, I don't think any of you see what a threat she is. From the moment she came to work in this company, Steffy has worked up the ladder. And she learns fast: she knows every little thing about how a company like this one should be run. She knows how Forrester Creations works! Not to forget she's charismatic and everyone who works in and for this company appreciates her.

Eric: Marcus is right. When Steffy first came to work here, she didn't want to be given any privileges. She started in the basement: said she wanted to earn her place in the company. And she worked up from there, everyone liked her. Steffy and her siblings practically grew up in this building. If there's anyone who could bring this company down if they so desired, it would be Steffy.

Brooke: Don't you think you're exaggerating, Eric?

Eric: No, Brooke. I'm serious. We can't underestimate Steffy and Thomas: it would be a really foolish thing to do.

Everyone took on a contemplative face, getting how right Eric and Marcus were. Everyone of course, except Hope and her family.

Another group that wasn't accepting the facts consisted of Wyatt and his mother, Queen. They didn't see what everyone was worried about. Sure Steffy and Thomas knew how things worked but that was nothing compared to Eric's years of experience, not to mention Hope's line had more potential than anything. She represented so much for the company! And Wyatt was going to help her get the glory she deserved.

While Wyatt's thoughts were concentrated on how to help Hope, his mother's were on how to exploit Steffy's return in town and use it to help his son get the woman he deserved. Steffy's timing couldn't be more perfect. And her pregnancy was just the icing on the cake. This would be the perfect thing to get Liam's attention away from Hope and leave the way to Wyatt.
