At Forresters Creations

The Forrester Creations building was bustling with activity that same morning. Of course, everyone in town knew why that was. The big day had finally come for the fashion company and especially for its star model, Hope Logan. She had put everything on hold, even her own wedding to make this show perfect. They had a beautiful collection and a secret jewel to show to the world that would for sure boost their image even more.

The only problem in the equation was that the young woman herself wasn't as into this as she should be and everyone could see it.

Wyatt, concerned and perceptive of her moods as always went directly to her to see what was wrong. "Hope? What is wrong?"

Hope: Huh, nothing. Nothing is wrong, I'm just nervous, is all.

Wyatt: You sure? I think there's something else. I mean you actually look worried.

Hope: I'm not worried Wyatt, promise. I'm sure our collection will get the success we deserve after all the work we've done.

Wyatt was about to question her further but was interrupted by a model asking for help. He gave Hope a look, about to continue but she was quick to shoo him over to help prepare things. She sighed in relief but it was short lived. After Wyatt now came her mother.

Brooke:  Tell me what's bothering you honey. Everyone can see you don't look very happy today, considering what's about to happen.

Hope: No, I'm happy, it's just, I haven't heard from Liam yet and I don't know how it went with Steffy.

Hearing the vulnerability in her daughter's voice, Brooke's face softened. Her motherly instincts took over and she rubbed Hope's arms in comfort. She could understand why she was so worried in a moment like this.

Brooke: I'm sure everything went fine and he just needs some time to take it all in.

Hope wasn't convinced. "Yeah but this was supposed to be my day; the day for Hope for the Future to get a great triumph and Steffy took it from me. She ruined everything, again!"

Brooke: Honey, calm down. She didn't ruin anything. We have yet to start the show.

Hope: No, but how can I concentrate on the show when all I can think of is Steffy with Liam, feeding him lies and who knows what else? He shouldn't even be with her: his place is here, with me, like he promised.

Brooke could see her daughter was about to get hysterical and she had to put an end to it. They couldn't afford for her to lose it before the show even started.

Brooke: Hope, you have to get a hold of yourself. I'm sure Liam will be fine. Don't let Steffy get to you like this; there's nothing she can do against you. Like you said, this is your day: she can only ruin it if you let her so don't give her the satisfaction.

Hope nodded and took a few deep breaths in and out. "You're right mom. I don't know what came over me. It's just, each time Steffy is in town..."

Brooke: I know honey, I know. But we won't let her this time.

Hope gave her mother a smile. "Yeah, this is my big day. Steffy has no way of ruining it for me."

Brooke: That's the spirit! Now go on honey, go make yourself ready!

With Steffy, Thomas, and Taylor watching HFTF Show

Taylor and her children were sitting home, ready for the show. They were the talk of the fashion world and orders were still coming from buyers from around the world. It was all beyond their wildest expectations and none of them could be happier. Now though, it was time to see how things were going to go back at FC with the new HFTF collection.

Steffy was sitting on the sofa, feet propped up on the coffee table and a bowl of popcorn placed strategically on her overgrown stomach. Of the three of them, she was the most excited one. She was impatient to see how they were going to react when they realized that TPS kicked their ass on the first day. It was going to be quite the show.

Taylor joined Steffy on the sofa when it started and Thomas stood behind them. They watched everything with a critical eye. They had to admit, the collection was good but it had nothing on theirs. And their secret weapon was a great idea too.

It would have worked too if it wasn't for the fact that the day before had been filled with the news of a new player in town. Poor Hope was mostly asked questions about TPS and how FC were feeling about losing two of their most valuable assets and working against them now.

Thomas and his family watched with smirks as Rick and his sister found themselves trapped by the press and tried to bring things back to their new collection, in vain. Everyone could see the disappointment written all over their faces as question after question came back to Steffy's and Thomas' new company.

Steffy turned the TV off. "Well, that was good."

Thomas: Did you see Rick's face?

Steffy laughed while her mother answered. "It was priceless! And the way he tried to deflect the questions to make it all about them and Hope For The Future!"

Thomas: That's the problem with Forrester Creations now. I always told granddad that it wasn't good for the company to rely solely on just one line but would he listen?"

Steffy: You're right Thomas. It saddens me to see what's happening after everything I did to return the company back to the family.

Taylor: Me too sweetheart. But you know your grandfather and father have always been taken with the Logan women. They don't listen to anyone else where they are concerned. They've all forgotten that they wouldn't even be running that company if it wasn't for you.

Thomas: Mom's right, Steffy. They're all hypocrite who won't admit they're wrong so, let them. They'll realize soon enough what a big mistake they did and that day, it will be too late. We won't go back there anyway.

"Well, that's enough talk about the Logans and whatnot." Steffy patted her stomach.

Steffy: I can't wait for this little one to come out. I feel so big!

Taylor: Don't be so impatient sweetheart; she'll come out when it's the right time for her and not a day before.

Steffy: Yeah, just a long month to wait, nothing much.

Thomas: So, are you ready for everything?

Steffy: Yeah, I think so. We did everything on time, as we planned: the company's had a great start, our first collection is doing stunningly well; I couldn't be more prepared. Now, we only have to promote it since we have the next one almost ready.

Taylor: And what about Liam?

Steffy sighed first. "Well, I'm not worried mom. Liam made his bed, he'll have to sleep on it."

Thomas: And I made it perfectly clear to him.

Taylor and Steffy turned to give Thomas a look.

Steffy: Oh no, what did you do?

Thomas: You don't have to worry, Steffy. He said some nasty things about you and I made him understand that he wouldn't get away with it.

Steffy: Oh, I wasn't worried for him. I just wish that I'd been there to see it.

Thomas smiled at that. "Well, in that case, I'll be sure to include you the next time I punch him."

Steffy: Please do.

Taylor: Hey, don't forget to get me too. I want to see that bastard suffer for what he did to my daughter.

Thomas: Ok, ok you two. There's no need to gang up on me like that! I promise to call you the next time I give Liam a lesson.

The other two laughed at him then, throwing fistfuls of popcorn his way. They spent their time laughing and simply enjoying themselves.

Steffy's pregnancy and taking their distance from FC had changed all three of them. The two events had opened their eyes on the fact that they could count on no one but themselves: they became even closer after that. Nothing and no one was more important than their family from now on.
