Up, tuck, yes. I did it again, I landed my krippler on the half pipe while riding switch.
So here's my schedule:
6:30- wake up.
7:30-3:30- at school.
3:30-4:30- homework while driving to the mountain I like to train at.
4:30-4:45- get ticket and gear ready.
4:45-5:00 warm-up runs on the trails.
5:00-6:15- work on the halfpipe.
6:15-7:00- dinner.
7:00-7:30- weight room training.
7:30-8:00-cardio training.
8:00-8:30-cool down and phone time.
8:30-9:30- special training on trails.
9:30-10:45- phone time/ any remaining homework.
10:45-11:00- salad time.
11:00-6:30- sleep.
I only train on days a have school during the school year, so I have days off just like everyone else as well. My specialty training differentiates between either more cardio, weight training, halfpipe time, assessing personal errors, going into the park, or running the trails. Somehow even with this crazy schedule I still manage to have straight A's in school. If I didn't keep my grades high enough then my Uncle Robbie, who is also one of my three coaches, would take away some training time as a punishment for not working to my full potential in school.
So uncle Robbie and I are at dinner, so I ask him " Do you think i should try and start a snowboarding team at school?"
"Yea kiddo that sounds just like you to want to spread to sport to your school. I can even email the principal and ask him about it? What do you think, Madds?"
"I think that would be awesome thanks Robbie."
"Your welcome, Maddie."
There is one reason why I would continue to do this intensive schedule. It's because I am Maddie Walsh.
