Day Before Tryout Day

So I have been checking the tryout list and so far we have a lot of people wanting to tryout, some are arrogant and some are just themselves. Here's the list of kids trying out:

I go to principal Hawkins again about meeting up with all of these kids before tryouts in a couple days. Mr. Hawkins said that he would call all these kids down to the cafeteria to talk with them about how everything is going to go during the tryouts and if they make the team.

That was the first time I saw Blake Camorada besides in the hallway or at lunch. This is the first real conversation I had with him and it ended with an argument kind of like this:

"So you're saying that snowboarding is to dangerous for girls?"

"Yea so, it's a mans sport. It isn't for petty little girls, like yourself Maddie."

"Oh I'll show you who's the petty little girl, on the half pipe." Maddie angrily retorts back.

" What do you mean half pipe?"

"Oh, you know the 22ft high wall of ice and snow."

"You can't ride that Maddie you're a girl." Blake threats to Maddie.

"Hey Blake we have the tryout tomorrow, so how about I show you what a girl can actually do on the pipe."

"Okay and if I am better than you, then you have to go on a date with me and if you win."

" When I win Blake then you have to drop of the team. How about that? Deal?"

"Deal, your on Maddie Walsh."

I know I have to win and that I will win since I am Maddie Walsh.
