Tsukishima x Reader - Gone, Gone

For now, I'm just gonna post a fanfic I wrote a long time ago that I never published. Idk if it's exactly x reader, but whatever. I'm still working on the next few chapters of my other book, Gemini Project (read it lol it's the shit👌🏻) but I'll probably publish those by the end of this week.

The three words she mostly said was "I love you."

Tsukishima thought it was annoying. Every time she saw Tsukishima, she would say "I love you." After every class, she would walk to him and say "I love you." Wherever they went together, she would say "I love you."

Her words were the say-these-words-after-every-single-incident words. Tsukishima, however, never returned a response. He would always keep quiet. He would be too embarrassed to say those three words.

I love you. I love you. I love you.

Never could he say them. But Tsukishima couldn't keep it in forever. Once, after several occasions, he yelled in her face, "How many times must you say that?! It's so annoying and I'm sick of it! You better shut your mouth!" Tsukishima almost saw tears in her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away, replacing her agonized face with her usual bright smile, trying to take no offense.

Tsukishima gave up that day.

"Oi, Tsukki, don't you think your a bit harsh to your girlfriend?" Yamaguchi, Tsukishima's best friend asked.

"Well, what should I do then, smartass?" Tsukishima glared, not waiting for a response. "She won't shut her damn mouth."

Yamaguchi had a concerned look on his face. "But Tsukki... If you keep this up, she may leave you."

And so right he was.

A boy stood over a tombstone, then crouched down to peer at the engraved name. Behind his glasses, tears welled up and streamed down his cheeks.

He didn't know what to do anymore.

"I'm so sorry..." He whispered. More tears streamed down his face.

"I'm so sorry... I love you...I love you so much. Oh, God why didn't I tell you sooner?"
