I woke up to someone pounding on my front door. I got up, not even bothering putting on any pants, to see who's at my door. I seen it was John Ross and opened the door for him, when he seen I was just in my cami and thong he just smirked at me.
"I see you got dressed up for me." He said coming into my apartment.
"You woke me up, John Ross." I stated going to my bathroom.
He followed me and just stood in the door frame while I peed, brush my teeth, and put my hair up. He sat in my sofa as I put jeans on.
"So why are you here anyways?" I asked him sitting next to him.
"What, I can't come see my favorite girl?" He asked me looking down into my eyes.
"Yes, but there's always something you want or need." I told him.
"Fine, momma and Ann wanted me to come get you, they want to talk to you." He told me.
"Okay." I said standing up.
John Ross just stayed sitting and looking at me. "Aren't you coming?" I asked him.
"Yes, I was thinking about how you're going to be twenty one soon. I remember when you just turned sixteen." He said and stood up and walked closer to me.
"Oh I remember my sweet sixteen very well." I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist. "You were suppose to take me to my party but we came almost an hour late because we started to make out."
"Don't forget the other things." He smirked at me while cupping my butt.
I blushed and looked down remembering. "You were always the one to teach me things."
"Yes." Was all he said before his phone started to ring.
I let him answer it and went to put my shoes on. When he came back he told me that we had to go. We both walked to his car hand in hand.
~At the house~
As soon as I walked in the door Sue Ellen and Ann bombarded me with pictures and asking if I remember anything. They are working on making me a scrapped book for my birthday.
"Oh my God, is this me and John Ross when I was a baby?" I asked as I looked at the picture of me as a baby with a teenage John Ross holding me.
"Yes, you wouldn't stop crying when we went to see you and you only stopped crying when John Ross held you." Sue Ellen informed me.
Just then John Ross and Christopher walked into the room. I showed the picture to them and they just smiled.
"Yeah, most of those pictures has John Ross in them. You wouldn't do anything without him around." Christopher told me.
"It's not my fault that she has always wanted me." John Ross said sitting next to me.
"Awe, here's you, John Ross, and Christopher all by the pool when you were four!" Ann told us holding up the picture.
"That was the day Morgan jumped in the pool because we did. Let me tell you Morgan, that was one of the scariest days because you didn't know how to swim." Christopher told me looking at the picture.
"Wow, even back then I was trying to be like you guys." I laughed.
"You did a lot of things because of us." John Ross told me.
"That's what you get since I'm the youngest and the only girl." I pointed out.
"All you wanted was to be with John Ross." Sue Ellen told me with a smile.
I smiled and nodded because they are right, ever since I was a baby all I wanted was to be with John Ross. Of course over the years out relationship changed but we never said if we are dating or not. But it doesn't matter what happens because we always come back to each other.
I looked over to see John Ross holding a picture. I moved closer to see what it was because he has an angry look on his face. When I seen what it was I took it from him.
"What the hell!" He said to me.
"Where did this come from?" I asked to the group.
"What is it?" Ann asked me.
"A picture of me and my mom." I told her handing it to her.
"I'm not sure." She said putting it on the table.
I just shook my head and sighed. "Just rip it up, I don't want to see it."
"Morgan, I know what she did wasn't fair but-" Christopher started to say but I cut him off.
"'What she did wasn't fair?' She left me at the hospital! Hell, she left me as soon as I was born and wanted to come back in my life when I was just turning sixteen. If it wasn't because of you guys who knows where I would be. She's only seen me three times my whole life. I want nothing to do with her." I said getting upset.
John Ross wrapped his arm around me and kissed my cheek. "Don't waste you time on being mad at her." He whispered in my ear.
"You have us as your family." Ann told me before ripping up the picture.
I looked at more pictures with Sue Ellen and Ann and they were telling me the stories behind them. It's nice to just sit here and relax without worrying about much. Then Bobby came in and just looked at the mess that we made.
"What's the special occasion?" He asked as he gave me a hug.
"Just getting some pictures in order before Morgan's birthday." Ann said before she kissed him.
"Ugh, don't remind me!" I said covering my face.
"You act like being twenty one is old." Sue Ellen told me with a smile.
"No, one my birthday John Ross wants to take me out for my first drink." I said putting my head on the table.
"You make it sound like it won't be fun." He said coming into the room again.
"Just be careful when you two go out." Bobby told us.
"Don't worry because I don't want to go out with just him." I said and looked at John Ross.
"Just for that I'll cancel dinner." John Ross said acting hurt.
"What, you're not going to feed me?" I asked him standing up.
"Not now." He smiled back.
"You two should just go get a room." Christopher said.
"Um, no." I said giving him the look.
"Okay, enough of talking like this." Bobby said before leaving the room.
"But seriously, if we don't leave now we will be late." John Ross told me.
"Okay. Well, thank you for today, I had fun." I told Ann and Sue Ellen before giving each of them a hug.
