You're Mine & Only Mine

Ch. 5

~Two months later~

I haven't talked to John Ross since our fight. But when we see each other it's very awkward. He just gives me dirty looks and I just ignore him.

It's like everyone knows what happened between us and they don't know what to say or do. I try to ignore them, but it gets hard sometimes.

I got out of my car and walked into the house to see Ann talking to JR. I didn't know that he was going to be here today, so it was awkward walking into the kitchen. He looked up to see and he just smiled at me. I smiled back and sat at the table.

"How are you today?" JR asked me.

"I'm okay." I told him.

"John Ross is coming later. I just thought you should know." Ann told me with a fake smile.

"Oh, okay." Was all I could say.

"You know, Morgan, things will get better between you two." JR informed me.

"Who knows." I told him.

Just then John Ross walked in and seen all of us. He walked into the bathroom that was in the hallway.

"You two need to talk." Ann to me as she sat down at the table.

When John Ross came out of the bathroom, I stood up and followed him outside. He was walking towards the edge of the property. He finally turned around to see me.

"What do you want?" He asked me.

"To talk to you." I told him as I continued to walk towards him.

"About?"

"Us." I said walking closer to him.

"I thought there was no 'us' anymore." He told me.

"There's always going to be us, no matter what." I informed him. When he didn't say anything for awhile I continued to talk. "I'm sorry that I didn't move in with you. I just want to be more than friends if we do move in with each other."

"We've always been more than just friends Morgan." He told me closing the gap between us.

"Ok, well I was to be more than friends with benefits." I tried to say.

"Fine." Was all John Ross said before kissing me.

We continued to kiss for awhile until I pulled away. We were both breathing heavy and I'm glad that no one can see us from the house. I know that everyone would want to know what is going on between us.

Ok, I'm so sorry for not updating for a long, long time! Between work, sports, my senior year starting, and looking at colleges it's been a busy summer! But please, if I don't update right away don't get pissed off because I do have a life and a busy one. I know this chapter is short but I wanted to update something for you guys. Again I'm sorry and if it takes awhile I'm sorry!
