"Ano ba, Ashton! Ano ba talagang gusto mo? Nakakainis ka na!" Ikay angrily yelled nang dumating na sila sa flat niya na malapit lang sa Buckingham Palace. Kanina kasi ay sobrang inis niya nang bigla na lang siyang kinaladkad ni Ashton papaalis sa ospital. Nag-eskandalo pa talaga ito doon! Sumasakit nga ang ulo niya dahil alam niyang may mga media na malamang ay nakavideo sa kanila o nakakuha ng picture sa kanilang dalawa ni Ashton.
Inis din siya rito dahil iniwan na lang nila basta-basta si Queen Julia. The King instructed her to assist and to help the Queen with her royal duties pero heto siya, mas inuuna ang mga issues niya sa buhay.
Binitawan naman ni Ashton ang kamay niya. Nakatalikod pa rin ito sa kanya.
"Do you really hate me that much, Katherine?" He suddenly uttered. His voice was somehow sad.
Hindi naman agad nakapagsalita si Ikay sa sinabi nito. The man she had given her everything - her heart, body and soul, the man whom she loved with all heart, the man who supported her dreams in becoming a doctor and the man whom she didn't expect that would break her into pieces - is asking her if she hates him so much now.
"I loved you with all my heart, Ashton," Pilit niyang pinatatag ang boses niya, "But you chose to break me. You chose to destroy my love for you. And now... what do you think, Prince?"
Ilang balde ng luha ang iniyak niya dahil dito - thinking the what if's and why's about their doomed relationship - if she was just born rich or with a royal blood, maghihiwalay kaya sila? That why did Ashton break her promise to her na ipaglalaban siya nito? Questions, insecurities and doubts about herself dawned her.
She thought their four-year relationship was real... pero para kay Ashton, hindi pala. Isang pampalipas oras lang siya sa buhay nito. Of course, what does she expect? She's just a poor commoner.
Ni wala nga silang proper closure or break-up. When Ashton joined the military for two years, the first year was okay. Nagpapalitan pa sila ng mga letters sa isa't-isa then on the mid of that year, bigla na lang nahinto ang communication nila. Then the news quickly circulated around that he was already dating someone else. At hindi na rin ito nagpakita sa kanya ulit.
Hinarap naman siya nito. Ashton was staring at her with pain in his eyes. Ni hindi nga niya alam kung bakit parang nasasaktan ito. He chose this - therefore he should not regret the choices he made.
"I never wanted this life, Katherine." His voice was deep and intimidating. Bigla tuloy siyang nakaramdam ng kaba.
"T-Then... what do you want, Ashton? What do you really want?"
He suddenly cupped her face with his right hand, his eyes piercing deeply through her, "I want you, Katherine Andrada."
She then felt her heart stopped for a second. Pero bago pa man siya makapagsalita ay bigla na lang nagring ang phone niya.
Thank you, Lord!
She quickly shoved her hand into her pocket and got her phone out. Nakita naman niya ang incoming call ni Queen. She then answered it.
"Queen! I'm sorry about kanina--"
"Ikay, si Jordan," She felt the fear behind the Queen's voice, "Kailangan natin siyang puntahan. There was a bombing in his place."

"Idris!" Kaagad tinawag ni Julia si Idris nang ito mismo ang sumalubong sa kanya nang dumating na siya sa hotel kung saan nagstestay sina Jordan and the National Farmers' Union members. Ito kasi ang nagbalita sa kanya tungkol sa biglaang pagsabog sa loob ng hotel.
"Ang asawa ko, nasaan siya?" She asked worriedly. Kasama rin niya si Ikay at si Prince Ashton sa mga oras na iyon. The British royal guards also accompanied her there. Ni hindi nga siya nakapag-ayos at nakaputing robe lang siya dahil sa pagmamadali niya.
Nang bigla na lang naputol ang pag-uusap nila ni Jordan sa video call at nang makarinig siya ng pagsabog galing dito, her heart was really beating faster than ever. Sobra-sobra ang pag-aalala at takot ang inabot niya dahil kahit anong gawin niya, hindi na niya macontact ulit ang asawa niya. She really thanked God so much that when she decided to call Idris, sinagot siya nito kaagad. Then Idris told her something happened - that there was a bombing inside the hotel.
"He's fine, my Queen. He's already talking to the authorities about the incident." Sagot naman sa kanya ni Idris habang naglalakad na sila papunta sa kinaroroonan ng asawa niya. Parang namang nabawasan ng tinik ang puso niya dahil sa sinabi nito.
Nang dumating na sila ay nakita naman nila ang Hari na kinakausap ang mga awtoridad. Kasama rin nito si Mrs. Thornhill sa pag-uusap sa mga ito. Both of them were seriously talking to the authorities. Talagang nagkakagulo pa rin sa loob.
"Pa!" She called him. Napalingon naman ito sa kanya at mukhang nagulat nang makita siya. But then she just quickly went to him and hugged him so tightly. Naiiyak tuloy siya.
"Akala ko kung napano ka na..." She sobbed, "Pinag-aalala mo 'ko ng husto," Humiwalay na siya rito. Hinawakan naman niya ang pisngi nito, "Nasugatan ka ba, Pa? Dapat pumunta na tayo ng ospital para macheck ka."
Jordan smiled and just kissed her hand which was cupping his cheek, "I'm okay, Ma. I'm very okay. I'm sorry if I made you worry." He told her lovingly.
Huminga naman ng malalim si Julia at seryosong tinignan ito, "You really did. Landi ka ng landi sa 'kin sa call tapos bigla na lang ganito ang mangyayari? Mapapaanak ako sayo ng maaga eh."
Jordan just chuckled and kissed her forehead. Ipinulupot naman nito ang braso nito sa bewang niya at muling hinarap ang mga awtoridad. Julia also greeted Mrs. Thornhill who was standing beside Jordan.
"The bomb was found in the 15th floor, room 1513, your majesty," The chief police started, "Fortunately, nobody died but we have a lot of injured victims."
"1513 was supposed to be my room,"Nakakunot-noong sabi naman ni Jordan sa chief, "But I asked the hotel manager to have me exchanged a room in the 20th floor for a better signal so I could call my wife."
Natahimik naman silang lahat sa sinabi ng asawa niya. Siya naman ay nagsimula na namang kabahan.
"Jordan..." Her heart was really beating fast now.
The chief police suddenly took a deep breath, looking at them seriously and with a sudden realization, "Then with my deductions, the one who planted the bomb... was after you, your majesty. The bomb was intended to kill you."
"The suspect somehow planned to kill you with it in your room but you got away from it."
