The group of men that took Maggie were called the Iubus, they were the gang of the den. They felt as though they could control everything because it was already in complete Mayhem. They believed it to be their duty to kidnap small children, and force them into things, terrible things, and trades. And to get these children back, you would have to save their life by sacrificing your own.
I forced open the door that read 2700182.9983 on the other side was the door. The one that read 2700183. I went to reach for the handle when all of the light disappeared from the small hallway, I heard the a large screeching sound as someone opened a door, then I felt another large blow to my head, but it didn't knock me down this time, I punched blindly into the darkness, I only hit metal wall, and doors
"Are you done yet?" A shallow voice called from the other side of the door.
"No! Give me back my sister!!" I screamed.
"Stop punching, and we will,"
"Prove it!" I said continuing to move my body swiftly, I probable looked like a damn fool, but I didn't care.
"We will if you stop flailing around!" The voice sounded more and more irritated.
"Fine, turn back on the lights."  I said, almost instantly, the lights turned back on.
"Thank you." The door in front of me opened, and on the other side, stood a dim room surrounding a large fighting cage, the only other thing in the room was a throne opposite of me.
"Where's Maggie!" I demanded.
Alive. A man stepped out from the shadows followed by about ten men with long sticks,
"Who are you? I want to see her!"
"All in good time, my dear. First" he paused and whispered to one of the strongest men beside him, who then walked into the cage.
"Fight!" He finished his phrase.
"What? Hell no! Just give me Maggie!"
"Well, you're the one that wanted to show us your karate skills in our waiting area, so now. Show us your skills master" he stood and bowed sarcastically. I stood there in complete silence not wanting to move.
"Well, go on, or she'll get it!" He pointed to the corner of the room, where another child laid  helpless.
"That's not my sister.." as those cruel words passed my lips, I felt as though I was a monster.
"Very well then, kill her."
"NO!!!" I screamed and ran as fast as I could to the child.
"No." I put my body on top of hers
"Then fight." He payed comfortable back into his chair.
I checked the girls pulse, it was weak and rapid.
"Fine." I stood up and walked into the cage.
"Are you waiting for a bell or something, fine. 'Ding ding ding'" he said hitting a fake bell. The behemoth started to walk towards me breaking his stick in half, and throwing them to each side. He rushed towards me and swung one of his gigantic arms in my direction, and slid out of the way, and behind him.
"Oooo" the man laughed and clapped. He turned around and cracked his neck,
"Wait, what are you doing he-" the man yelled as a bullet pierced his skull, everyone in the room turned to see what was happening,  on the opposite side of the room, stood a person in a cape and hood with a pistol.
"Cassie get down" the Man Said shooting the behemoth, and two other men, everyone in the room began to rush him, but he took them down one by one, and after his clip ran out, he dropped the gun, and whipped out another pistol. 'Bang; bang; bang'
One after another, then men fell. Until there was no one left standing in the room, but him.
"Are you okay Cassie?" Frank took off his mask, and dropped the cape.
"Frank! How the hell are you alive? I thought they killed you when they burned down the pub!"
"No one burns down my pub, but me." He replied.
I opened the gate to the cage, and rushed over to the little girl. Her face was pale, and cold, but she still had a pulse.
"Frank, we need to find Maggie."
"Here, you go. I'll take care of her" he said kneeling down next to me, and talking to the little girl.
"Thank you frank." I stood there for a second, my body was shaking still from adrenaline. I went to the other side of the room where there was darkness, and looked for a door, but there wasn't one. I followed the wall around the room, and found no door. 'The throne' I said to myself, I rushed over to the throne, and right under his cold dead hand, there was a button, I pressed it, and the rest of the lights came on, and a door opened from the wall in the corner of the room.
"Frank I found something."
"Here, take a gun." He clipped on the safety, and slid the gun to me. I picked it up and nodded. I pulled the half open door the rest of the way, the next room was so bright with a ladder that had a sign on it that read 'to surface'. I wanted to climb up it so bad, but first I needed to find Maggie.
"Maggie!" I whispered, from down the hall to the right, I heard a clang on a cage, she hit the cage over an over. I rushed in the direction of the clanging, there was a completely dark room where the sound came from. 'Bang' a bullet came flying out of the room, and hit the wall right behind my head.
"Don't try again, or she gets it." The man sounded very nervous.
"Okay, Okay. Hey, what's your name. My name is Cassie."
"C-Cassie?" The mans unsteady voice called out.
"Yeah, what's your name?"
"Regerald." He said swiftly
"Regie?" I replied
"Like, Regie Arloe?"
"Yes, Cassie it's me." Regie was someone I knew when I was younger, but he disappeared.. when. We. Were. Eight....
"Regie, how many children are in there with you?"
"Uh, three girls and two boys."
"Okay, can you please turn the light on for me? I'm going to put my gun down, okay?" I put the pistol down in front of the door.
" can you slide your gun out here for me? I promise, I'm not going to hurt you." He threw his gun into the open, and turned on the light. I peaked around the corner, he had a knife to one of the children's throats. I put my hands up and walked into the room.
"Hey, hi. How are you? It's been years." He dropped the knife, and stood up with the little girl.
"Yeah, hi." I looked around,
"No! Eyes on me!" He said
"Okay, Okay. I'm here, it's okay. Please put her down. Don't do anything rash" he nodded turning his back and putting her down. He picked up the knife on his way back up and threw it at my head, I whipped the pistol out from where I had pushed it down my pants, and shot him in the foot. He fell to the ground, and cried like a baby. I took some wiring that I saw across the room, and tied his hand behind him.
"Cassie?" Maggie's sweet voice rang through the room like a lullaby
"Maggie!" I ran over to here
"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"
"No I'm okay." She said beginning to cry. I pulled her into my body, and kissed her head.
"It's Okay Maggie, they can't hurt you anymore" all of the young children came over to me, and hugged me.
"They can't hurt any of you, ever again."
