There were lamps and other household things flying all over the house. The chains around me separated and I was able to escape. Leonard turned to me in the heart of the tornado and lunged at me with everything he had and punched me in the face. Yes ghosts can punch each other, just not humans, if we punch humans, they die so... He stood there very angrily. I guess he did recognize me. Not a fan of me I'm sure of it. I was fine just standing there looking at his unsmiling face, watching him look at my grinning face. I was happy and content until... I felt a sharp pain in my side and a burning sensation, I yelled out in pain. Leonard zoomed away like a deflated balloon, I saw the storm vanish the room get put back together the balloon flying out the door and the door slamming shut, leaving only a few papers fluttering back onto the floor. I stood there as the presence of my dear foe left me all alone. Emma was standing behind me panting with her sword pointed towards the floor. I staggered over to the door and she started to follow me. I felt so stupid that I had actually thought that I could trust Leonard to help me. He just wanted to feed off of all the emotion inside the room. I sighed, I guess I would have to try to make a run for it. I am definitely not going back to ghost town, there are way too many ghosts that would love to erase me from existence in there. I also didn't want to stay here with these people either because then I would be chopped to death and then end up back in ghost town anyway so there's nothing I could think of doing that could save me now. So I just stood there staring longingly at the door. Emma came around and looked at me, trying to catch her breath she spoke to me willingly, which was surprising because I just wrecked their house and put it back together.
"Who are you" she asked me. I just stood there staring. "now you don't want to talk but before you surely had something to say"
"Well now I don't really want to say anything to you creeps especially since I am stuck here now" I said to them.
"Now you're talking" She said, then in a blink of an eye slashed her sword straight through me. I wailed and my form dissolved and the source of me staying there fell to the floor. The lights flickered out and my spirit stuck to the walls of the house. "Oh Fudge" Emma said. Darkness in the house grew thicker and the lamps outside shattered. The lights in the dark neighborhood burst and exploded. The whole block was pitch black. The candles wouldn't light and my voice echoed around the walls. I knew I could do this I just never wanted to for the fear of being trapped in the walls of a house forever, even if it did mean scaring people to death by screaming in the middle of the night. Unless old people lived here, which they didn't. Emma and her team pulled out their handmade swords and regrouped in the center of the room. I don't know how they did it the blackness in the room was in fact beyond blacker than black. I even started to scare myself. It amused me though, that I had this much power and never used it, which is sad considering the fact that I am the only ghost who has ever had this ability.
I circled the room around them making the darkness seep into their circle. I took the chains with a hand I made out of wind and tossed them to the girl Heather and they looped around her ankles and I pulled her out into the darkness. As I did I caught sight of myself in the mirror, I nearly dropped the chains. It startled me so bad, I looked so different. I normally don't look that bad if I don't want to look bad. I definitely looked bad now though. I looked terrible. You wouldn't really know what to think of it though, because you don't know what I normally looked like, and I think that I would barf on this page if I described it to you so we are going to skip that part. My form was thinner too, I was like a wisp so it was probably hard to see me with the thickness of the darkness shielding most of the room from view. Emma held the group together and kept them calm. I dropped Heather off in the living room. This was all pretty new to me, I did not have much control over this power. Despite that, Emma kept the team calm quite nicely, but I could feel even her confidence in what they were doing, wavering. I circled around them making the darkness swirl around them. She looked around trying to find the source of the wispy smoke surrounding them. For a brief moment she locked onto my position and swung her sword right when she lost my position. She nearly hit me too, I took the chains again and started to pull John through the wall of darkness too. He screamed and Emma instantly reacted. She sliced my wind chains and I yelled in rage.
"This has gotten way out of hand" Emma said to the others, she stepped out of their circle and said "stay here, look out for each other, we don't want to lose anyone else" Then she turned around and ran through the ring of dark wind. She was partly out of the wind and she dived into the calmer part of the room and somersaulted into a kneeling position, I stood not to far away from her and dimmed my form so that she would not see me as well. Unfortunately it was not enough. Heather who was sitting there tied up yelled "Emma look out", it was then that I knew I was compromised. I took that time to take my strike. But I wasn't fast enough. She took out her sword and sliced in the air to keep me from coming at her and ran over to Heather. I yelled in rage and pain and the most unusual thing happened. I looked at them and yelled and started to go towards them. Then when Emma was almost to Heather, the ground opened underneath her and she fell into the huge pit of darkness. She was at the edge, she tried to back away from the edge of the pit but fell in herself. Down, down, down, into the gaping hole ready to swallow them up forever.
