Morgan's POV
The walkers. They were inching closer. By now, tears were streaming down my face. I was holding Carl's hand while snuggled up next to him, with my head buried in the crook of his neck.
Just then, Michonne, Daryl, and Jacob start killing the herd of walkers, one by one. Michonne was slicing them up with her katana, Daryl was shooting them with his arrows, and Jacob shot down a bunch with his gun. Caitlin would definitely like Jacob. He's just like her; tough, brave, and cute. When they had killed most of the walkers, the rest of us stepped in to help. All you would probably hear for miles were gunshots, and the piercing of the walkers heads when a sharp weapon struck it.
We then all ran to the vehicles quickly, not wanting another herd to pass by. I sat in between Carl and Alexis, because there was no way I was letting her sit anywhere near Carl. That would also give Carl a chance to talk and catch up with Jacob, while I get to sit with him. I chatted with Alexis on the way to the prison, trying to ignore my bad feelings about her. Something just didn't seem right. I wonder if Carl and Alexis were a thing before the apocalypse?
We arrived to the prison, and I silently left Carl, Jacob, and Alexis to go into the prison and say hi to Caitlin.
"Guys, we're back! Caitlin, where are you?!" I shouted throughout the whole cell block.
"I'm right here, Morgan. Calm down, crazy." Caitlin said, walking out of her cell and coming up to me.
"We found two new people on the run. Jacob and Alexis. They're twins, about our age. I think you would like Jacob. A lot, actually." I told Caitlin, smirking.
"Morgan, remember what happened with Eric? I can't have that happen again. I just can't." Caitlin told me with a sad look on her face.

Caitlin, Eric, and I were walking through the woods, hoping to find some shelter.
"Eric! When are we going to get there? I'm tired!" A then thirteen year old me complained to him.
"Soon. We'll be there before dark. I promise." Eric, the fifteen year old in our little group of three said.
"Ugh, my feet are killing me!" Caitlin complained.
"Here babe, I'll carry you." Eric told Caitlin, hoisting her up on his back, giving her a piggy back ride. Eric turned his head while Caitlin leaned forward and they shared a quick kiss on the lips.
They were a cute couple. The cutest a couple could be. He would die for her. I just didn't think the day he died would be today.
We approached the edge of the woods, and found a small gas station. We held up our weapons as we opened the doors and searched for the flesh eaters. Surprisingly, there were only two, which we took care of.
Once we set up our makeshift beds, I grabbed a padlock and tied it around the handles of the gas station entrance.
We ate a small dinner of a granola bar for each of us, and then we settled down for bed.
It was in the middle of the night when I woke up to a frantic Eric and Caitlin shaking me. "What's going on? I'm trying to sleep, you guys. Leave me alone."
"Morgan, wake up! There's a bunch of flesh eaters outside that have noticed us!" Eric said, his voice cracking from fear.
I immediately sat up and looked to the glass windows situated on the front side of the gas station.
"The padlock won't hold forever! They'll break right through the doors!" Caitlin said.
I looked away from Caitlin as I heard the glass finally give in and break.
It was in slow motion when they came through the doors, me just standing there as they got near.
Finally I snapped out of my trance when Eric shouted.
"Morgan, Caitlin, GO!! Save yourselves! Go!"
Caitlin and I ran past some flesh eaters, and as I stopped at the broken entrance of the gas station and tossed my fully loaded gun to him, I heard him say the last words that would ever come out of his mouth...
"I love you...sis."
