(Sam's POV)
The gang and I were all outside that monsters base. All our hearts were racing, ready for the upcoming battle. Arden glanced at me with fierce determination in his eyes.
"We will end this, I swear it to you." He said grabbing my hand lovingly. "Are you ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be, let's do this." He smiled at me.
I looked at Tim who was now being hugged tightly by Lucius. It didn't surprise me though, Lucius has been all over Tim ever since I got back. They better name their first child after me. If we survive this that is.
The gang advanced on Thorin's base. Quietly and stealthy, making sure that we were not to be seen.
Everything was quiet. To quiet.
We headed through the doors, Arden holding my hand every second of the way. Lucius was trying to hold Tim's hand but it was swatted away. Tim was trying to see out of good right eye as the left one, is practically ruined now. ( If you don't remember he injured it when Jonathon's son, who owed Jack money attacked Tim and gave him a nasty scar over his eye which made him go partially blind in that eye. Moving on.)
A loud buzzing noise echoed throughout the building and large chain nets fell over the gang.
A deep dark chuckle rang throughout the room. The bastard showed himself as the gang struggled under the nets.
" Well if it isn't the little pests now caught in my trap. Don't try and escape, I'll only kill you sooner." His ruby eyes stared right at me and Arden.
" Well if it's isn't the two lovebirds, and my vessel is there too. How fun. Come here vessel."He beckoned with his finger.
Arden teleported and now kneeled by Thorin tied up, unable to get free.
"Leave him alone!" I yelled desperately trying to get out of the net, but the metal was way too heavy.
In a loud voice Thorin called out.
"Arden, you have refused to be my vessel and have fought against me continuously. For that you must be punished."My breath hitched hoping what was inevitable wasn't going to actually happen. "How do you plead." The gag in Arden's mouth kept him from responding.
Thorin arched a brow."Is that so. Arden I find you guilty, you are sentenced to death." He brought out a gun from his coat and held it against Arden's head pulling back the safety.
"No!" I screamed sobbing watching the scene out fold in front of me.
"5" I stared in shock "4" I was in disbelief "3" I struggled against the net "2" I gave up.
As Thorin got down to one something amazing happened.
A large green tentacle shot out of the darkness ripping the gun from Thorin's hand and then disappeared.
" Who the hell just did that? Show yourself!" Two figures stepped out from the darkness coming into the light.
"Hello Thorin, remember us?" They stepped out showing off their black and green and blue eyes.
