Makee

Still speechless. I'm gonna cry for a bit. We are now sharing tables... SHARING TABLES! The feels. So the seating arrangement is like this, on a circular table, Me/Tris/Zach/Zoe/James/Connor/Brad.

"Hey, haha you should eat." James said looking at me. Why? Because I've been looking at them since the time we were introduced to each other. Instead of answering, I just nodded excitedly. Augh. I need to contain my feeeeeels.

"So, where did you meet?" Tris asked.

"I met Makee in Paris. She looks lost there so I approached her. As for Zach, she's Joe's bestfriend." Zoe answered. Tris nodded.

"Oh I almost forgot these." I said getting the cupcake. "For dessert." Gosh.

"Thanks." Brad said, smiling. Can I just melt right now? I've been smiling for a while now. They may be creeped out, good thing my phone rang. I excused myself before answering it.

"Hey Cas. Anything wrong?" I asked.

"Will you eat dinner at home?" He replied.

"Oh nope. We are having one right now. I can't wait to tell you what happened here." I said, very excited.

He chuckled, "yeah yeah. I'll wait for you. Enjoy your meal." Then ended the call. Uh-huh. I went back to the table and they were laughing.

"What did I miss?" I asked. They looked at me.

"Connor was telling a story." I nodded and continued eating. I feel kind of left out now.

"Are you okay?" Tris asked. I nodded and ate my cupcake.

"Wait. Zoe, Alfie mentioned that you were getting ready for a birthday before you met us?" James asked. "Who's birthday was it?" He continued.

"That was Makee's birthday." Again. They looked at me. I asked what.

"Well, belated happy birthday, my lady." Tris said and kissed my knuckles. I blushed at the gesture.

"Thank you." I said then laughed nervously. Then someone handed me the cupcake I bought. I creased my forehead and asked why.

"I thought you might like the cupcake. Belated happy birthday, princess." Brad said. RIP me.

Zach

I watched as Makee accept Brad's cupcake offering to her.

"Wait. Did you just call me princess?" Makee asked. The inevitable will happen. Always. Brad's eyes widened then smiled to mask it.

"Yeah. Sorry, did it bother you?" He replied.

"No no. It's just, I heard that only one person calls me that. Maybe he's not the only one." She then looked at me. I raised my brow and mouthed what. She shook her head and ate the cupcake.

"Nevermind what she said, let's finish this up?" Zoe changed the topic since the boys looked confused. After that scene, we finished the food and went home. Maybe they're still thinking of what Makee said because they are all silent.

"Deep in thoughts huh? So you do think after all." I heard Joe said. I rolled my eyes at him.

"As if you can think." I said and lay on the bed. "Remember the time I told you about the childhood friend?" I asked.

"What about it?" Joe asked as he lay down. I'm a bit hesitant about this. I sighed.

"Well, they met. It's just--- I don't know. Feels different."

"Hoo. Complicated matters eh? Why won't you let her know about that?"

"She'll be frantic. She can't even remember that stuff. I hate leaving her in the dark but damn. It's hard saying things like that to her." I said then closed my eyes. Joe placed his hand on my forehead then hit it.

"What the hey?!" I sat up and smack his arm.

"Just tell her that she forgot everything. And then continue the story. That'll make her understand." He said then left the room but came back so I glared at him. "Goodnight." Then out again.

What was he thinking? That I haven't tried to tell her what happened? They said not to stress her. Heck. It's been 3 years. Ain't that enough?

Makee

Hard having a picture of them but can't post it online for some reason. I was browsing through the pictures I took when someone placed fries in front of me.

"Wow. You can cook huh?" I mockingly said. He rolled his eyes.

"Of course I can." He said that made me laugh.

"Give it here. Let's eat together." I said while placing my phone down. He obeyed and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Say, do you know who called me princess?" I asked, I felt him stiffen upon hearing the question.

"Your dad?" Unsure. I shrugged.

"My dad always calls me young lady, but never princess." In which he nodded.

"Then I don't know who else." I sighed and dropped to topic. Maybe I'll ask Zach next time. Hoping that I won't forget it.
