This is the life of a priest
I've to leave all the fights fist.
From all these worldly pleasures, I should repel
And put my steps on the path of the gospel.
Persecutions, troubles and temptations are to occur on my way.
But through him I'll overcome, and won't lay on that hay.
In the hearts of the people, I ought to bring joy and solace.
Our sole aim is to bring astrayed souls and put to heaven race.
All I've to do is, preach,
The Word, till the ends of the earth reach.
No matter, how bad the situation be, I'll be brave.
For Christ's sake, I'm ready to be in the grave.
Jesus' resurrection is not a fiction,
And soon these will be revealed to all nation.
I just need to stay still and trust in God.
And all the rest will be done through Christ our Lord.
