[Lydia's POV]
After getting out of bed and putting on my outfit, I grabbed a couple ten dollar bills and put them behind my phone in my phone case. I walked out to my small balcony and picked up my skateboard. I locked the door behind me and climbed down the ladders with the board in my hands. I was also carrying my guitar case. I was going to go to town and do some busking. I really needed the money to buy food for myself and I knew my parents wouldn't give me any so this was my last option. I rode my board into town and found this very inconvenient staircase. It was like four squares stacked on top of each other in ascending order with the smallest at the top. I sat on the smallest square and nut my board down. I opened my guitar case and took out the black instrument. I left the case open on the floor for people to drop their money in. After I got out my pick and tuned the guitar, I started to play the tune of one of my brother's old songs.

"For a while we pretended
That we never had to end it
But we knew we'd have to say goodbye
You were crying at the airport
When they finally closed the plane door
I could barely hold it all inside

Torn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are

I could fly a thousand oceans
But there's nothing that compares to
What we had, and so I walk alone

I wish I didn't have to be gone
Maybe you've already moved on
But the truth is I don't want to know

Torn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are

You can say we'll be together
Someday
Nothing lasts forever
Nothing stays the same
So why can't I stop feeling this way

Torn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are."

I hadn't even realised that Ash, Cal and Mikey were stood in front of me whilst I was playing. They were dressed in black zip up hoodies, black skinny jeans and a pair of sunglasses.

"Hi boys. What are you doing?" I asked them.

"We were coming to your house to get your brother but then we saw you and stopped to listen." Mikey said.

"Well you can go now. I have just got enough for some lunch." I said with a small yet noticeable sigh. "Bye guys."

"Bye Lyds." They said and walked off in the direction I originally came from.

I think they were talking about me. About how I was practically begging for money on the streets. I ignored it and walked to the nearest KFC place. I went in and ordered an Oreo Krushems, a lunchbox and a chocolate cookie. I payed and then collected my food. I ate it inside and then put my rubbish in the bin. As I was walking outside, my phone began to ring. Not bothering to look at the caller ID, I answered the call.

{LR-Luke L-Lydia}
L: Hello?

LR: Where the hell are you? Mum is worried and dad is flipping shit!

L: Are the boys there?

LR: THAT'S IRRELEVANT.
